I'm a "country person" who has a wood burning stove, and I don't consider wood a waste product, nor do I consider living rurally a lower cost of living. It may appear lower, but when you are living rurally, the cost is made when you do have to go to the city, let's say, to buy a wood stove.. city wood stove will cost $1,500.00 and out here, $3,000.00 for example.
I really appreciate what you said about making it a politial issue. I think you are right on and hope that you follow up on your idea.
