Couldn't have said it better

We pray for our country and for a genuine, biblical revival like no other to sweep the land. Our whole church prays for this every Wednesday night. Yes, we still have Wednesday night prayer meetings like churches used to do.

Two most important words of II Chronicles 7:14 are "my people".
It is not the fault of the atheists and agnostics, or the evolutionists and the low-lifes, it is the fault of God's people who have allowed themselves to be wooed by the things of this world and become materialistic, convenience oriented, and who have fallen for any and everything that uses the name of God. We have not stuck to God's Word. We have allowed publishers to change His Word so many times people do not think there is a perfect Word of God anymore, so they don't read it. We wouldn't put up with such changes to our Constitution, yet the Word of God means less to most who call themselves "Christians".

The next most important words are "If" and "then".
IF my people shall:
1) humble themselves, and
2) pray, and
3) seek my face, and
4) turn from their wicked ways,
THEN will I:
1) hear from heaven, and
2) will forgive their sin, and
3) will heal their land.

We have become too proud, and have forgotten that "God resisteth the proud". The Bible says so, word for word, in two places: James 4:6 and I Peter 5:5

Freedom is the ability to do what you want to do.
Liberty is the ability to do what you ought to do.
