The 8 statements are themselves true, all things being equal. The report adds the caveat that the controversial of the statements is about the minimum wage, but it notes that even proponents of the minimum wage admit that it increases unemployment among the young and unskilled.

While it is true that 'in the long run' the market and manipulation of money may blunt or make moot any rise in the minimum wage, the fact is that raising the minimum wage has the immediate and foreseeable effect of making a portion of the population unemployable, all things being equal.
