First, Feel Good, then act

I avoid replying to negative comments, and if I do, I make sure that I first get myself grounded in a positive state of being. I find the right words come a lot easier and I'm not getting emotionally worked up where I can't think straight. Zero value comes out of those situations and at the cost of your stress going up. I have written multi-paragraph responses to some comments, and upon reading them back to myself a couple of times, I have found that I'm not communicating in a positive manner and just dump the whole thing and just ignore the comment I was replying to completely.

So, I completely agree with your stance and I encourage this for everyone.

I lot of people "win" when you "lose it" so make sure you have "a grip" on yourself before putting yourself out there in anyway. This goes for any life situation, not just commenting. I know you have been very kind and respectful with me and I always appreciate that.
