You missed the point entirely then, and certainly are not

a student of the original. My comment was very much in line with his style. The down votes here prove it. Mr. Adams did not say things to people to be agreeable or to tell them things they already believed. He was brash, obnoxious, and he CHALLENGED his listeners (or those within earshot - willing and unwilling) to think differently so that they might see more clearly, and then take the only action that will produce the desired result.
