Sethr - If only the others would see it this way. Once you...

...read a little history of the U.S. mischief (mostly CIA) in the middle east, you begin to understand it.

You come to understand that our policies over there are what drive people to hate us and you can't blame them. (Take what we did in Iran for instance in the 1950's by installing an evil puppet who imprisoned, tortured and killed his own people with our approval for many years).

WHAT THE HELL BUSINESS DID WE HAVE DOING THAT???

Our government tells the sheeples who they should hate and then they control them into attacking whichever nation they are in the mood to attack at the time.

You made an interesting statement: "All of the guys that were of high moral character were not re-upping."

That's good to know, because it's an all-volunteer military. I give some people who signed up before 9/11 a little more leeway than those who enlisted after that...but not a lot.

Our military hasn't been used to defend this country since the war of 1812.

It's really a national OFFENSE - not a DEFENSE.

Because there is much more to the overall picture: THE PROFITEERS OF WAR.

That would be the bankers, "defense" contractors and manufactureres, politicians, international organizations like the U.N., IMF, World Bank, other nations (like Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia) who control U.S. politicians into sending them billions every year (which supports arms races), and any other entity which profits from war.

THOSE are who we need to watch every minute of every day and question ANY move they try to make for U.S. military or foreign political action.

Specifically entities like world central bankers (Federal Reserve, Bank of England, European Central Bank), Lockheed Martin, Boeing, General Electric, General Dynamics, Northrup Grummond, Lyndsey Graham, John McCain, John Bolton, Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, and ALL Neo-Con, War-Mongers.

You were just a useful puppet in their game and you were one of the lucky ones to make it out of there.

And you are one of the few I have any respect for since at least you grew a conscience.
