That was an amazing intro

Thank you for that. I've always written. It's just that lately I really started taking it more seriously and have been compiling short stories and spending more time developing older stories and I want to get them together and publish. That means I have to go so much deeper than what I have been until recently. I am beginning to understand the term 'starving artist.' It goes beyond the fact that it can be hard to make money off art, but sometimes it's hard to even consider sharing some of it much less selling it and putting a price on it. It's not even the potential criticism as not everyone is going to like every song or story or painting. It's that once you put it out there, it's not just your anymore. And if you did it right. If you sang the song right, or painted the picture right, or wrote the story right, it becomes property of strangers. I'm not talking about copy right and whatnot, I think you get where I am going with that.

I have always loved the song 17. It's a great song, but that intro was perfect. That being said, the story will probably come down for the bday. It's the theme. Not for any negative reason or anything like that, it's just not the theme. Before I take it down, I'm working on something more light hearted to put up there. It's a short story about my time here at the DP and this thread. Not everyone will understand all the references, but it's fun.

Did I ever play this one for you? I love this cover of this song.
