because of a swift ending to the ice age. I don't see how Christ's teachings would be hurt if a Noah story is considered factual. Did Christ speak of Noah?
The Bible is a compilation of books taken from previous books, and every story in the Old Testament was "edited", "abbreviated", "misinterpreted", "put a spin on", "encrypted", or "truth hidden"; call it what you want but the Flood story, Garden of Eden, Sodom/Gomorrah story and many more were written thousands of years before the Bible stories were put together, and each were written differently then their biblical counterpart. As we all know very well History is written by whoever holds the biggest stick.
But God's word, His blueprint of how to live, remains intact.
