This sparked a memory.

It took me back to 1963 when I was living in Germany. A German friend was attending Marburg University and one of his subjects was English. He had to write an essay on the relationship between the Soviet Union and China so I volunteered to write one also and if he wished he could use some of the ideas.

My thesis was that the public rift between these two powers was in fact a tactical move and that their long term strategy was to put the Western powers off guard to enable the Communist agents to continue their subversion of Western societies. My ideas met with total disbelief even though my presupposition was derived from what I knew of original Marxist thinking. I then shelved the notion and forgot about it until now.

Since then my thinking has matured and I have arrived at a place where I understand that there are several layers of deception and billions of personal belief universes at work in the world. It is possible for one to be acting and thinking within a coherent defensible worldview in a way that is consistently moral within that universe. At the same time one's assumptions, thoughts and actions may well be dictated by a higher power, whether natural or supernatural, seeking to achieve another objective than the one imagined by oneself. In terms of final judgment one's words and actions are judged according to the universe in which one actually thinks and acts. Within the context of Marxist thought, which is just one way of seeing the world, the present situation may be viewed as a synthesis of the dialectic between Capitalism and Communism.

I didn't watch the videos but I did read the printed notes. Perhaps what I have said was observed by Christopher Story. I am not very familiar with his writing although I have read some of his articles. I have read that he was assassinated in 2010 but whether this is true or not, or what it signifies, I do not know.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
