4,200 uses for corn, 90% of which is genetically-modified:

Corn - "Corn is grown on over 400,000 U.S. farms." It amounts to more than 90 million acres. People ingest corn directly and also indirectly, e.g.,high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), not to mention indirectly via animals fed corn. Additionally, there are industrial uses.

Soy - "Approximately 3.06 billion bushels of soybeans were harvested from 73.6 million acres of cropland in the U.S. in 2011." Most soy that is ingested by humans is indirect, primarily the oil [#1 edible oil in U.S.] used in many food products. Also indirectly via animals, fed soybean meal.

Wheat - Wheat accounts for about 46 million acres of farmland.

...God only knows the true extent of what this has done/is doing to our environment and to us - with "just" 99% of corn and soy genetically engineered. We need GMO wheat, too, like we need a hole in the head.
