I think it's more subtle than that

In the American psyche there is this warm fuzzy longing for the "good old days" of the Clintons. Since then it's been one train wreck after another - war, torture, lies, bubbles, surveillance. You have to look back all the way to Reagan for another possible fiction of
the good old days" (Bush 1 doesn't provoke the same old good feelings).

That Clinton was comfortable getting blow jobs in the White House from his interns and then could look the American public right in the eye and LIE LIE LIE without it bothering him one little bit is one of those non-fuzzies that Hillary and the Dems would prefer not come out on stage.

That CLINTON CREATED the first NASDAQ collapse by provoking Greenspan to blow the credit bubble and by signing the revocation of Glass Steagall is a REALITY which is almost never attributed to Clinton. Only the fuzzy remains of Clinton's legacy.

But the REALITY is that Clinton established PERJURY as A-OK as long as you are politically connected.

Hillary and the Dems have been COUNTING on the warm fuzzy FICTION of Bill Clinton's term in office to pretty much sweep her into office.

They don't want the dark, creepy of Clinton committing a FELONY... openly, notoriously ... and basically laughing at the American public as he looked into the camera and lied to taint their staging of "the warm fuzzy".

It needs to start somewhere. Someone asked Rand a question. Rand answered. From there it was just a question of whether he was going to keep the topic in the public eye long enough to wake the sleeping public or let them go back to sleep.

I doubt this was Rand's preferred timing. And, perhaps, it wasn't even something he wanted to bring up at all.

But he can't -- and we can't -- afford to have Hillary ride Bill Clinton's warm fuzzy MISREMEMBRANCE of how great things were with the Clintons ... right into the White House.

It's sticky (pun intended) and it could backfire on Rand. But I think if he let it go now he wouldn't be able to bring it up effectively later.

The Dems want to be the minorities' party (while the continue to keep black men in jail); the workers' party (while they continue to swell the unemployment lines); the young peoples' party (while they continue marching them off to die in wars); the civil rights' party (while they accelerate their drive to exterminate all civil rights); and the womens' party WHILE THE CELEBRATE A SERIAL UNREPENTANT WOMANIZER...AND PREPARE TO PUT HIM INTO THE WHITE HOUSE AGAIN (for more blow jobs I guess).

Some one needs to call the Dems on their hypocrisy; they aren't going to call themselves, that is for sure.

Bill of Rights /Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Do you need a politician or judge to "interpret" those 28
