Without getting into

a conversation about who wrote books of the bible, let me ask you this:

The bible starts with one god. That is all that was known from the very beginning. There was a flood which wiped everyone out but Noah. If this is all that was known, one god ... how does a human race which must logically all derive from Noah's family if everyone else was killed in a flood ... go from only knowing one god to descending into idolatry or belief of more than one god? It would be akin to kids being taught 1+0 = 10 somewhere along the way of civilization.

I have no problem seeing order and structure in creation but to think the bible is a literal tenants manual ... not buying it.
