I can't get cable where I live because I'm so rural...

however, whoever wired my telephone cable back in the 70's for some reason used 19-gauge wire instead of 22-gauge wire like everyone else around me. Luckily, the wire is just thick enough to carry a DSL signal to my house and I get DSL. A few other neighbors get it too but most houses around us don't.

I guess they ran out of 22-gauge wire and used 19-gauge to complete the job.

High-speed DSL will keep you connected to the world.

Netflix streams with no problem. YouTube is fine too. However, some sites that stream video gives me problems especially when loading ads. I have to pause and buffer a lot but I think that would be the case even if I had cable internet, maybe not as long, but still a pain.
