That is really beautiful

You have have posted it before, but this is the first time I've read it.

What we perceive as God is the by-product of our search for God.

While not exactly the same, it reminds me of the title of a beloved book by Cheri Huber: That Which You Are Seeking Is Causing You To Seek.

It also reminds me of how Zen (or any religion, for that matter) is like the finger pointing at the moon. The moon is the goal, and the finger is just the guide. But so many people end up getting fascinated by the finger, they can't stop appreciating it, embellishing it, theorizing about the finger itself!

I really like what you have posted. Who is this person, G'Kar?
