my comment was supposed to be all-encompassing! haha. In college I spent 5 weeks in Beulah, Wy for Geology field camp and loved every minute of it. We would hike all day and camp all weekend in the Black Hills.

-I really loved the geology/scenery but it was much more than that.

-I had never spent time in a town with ZERO police officers-the nearest officer was 20 miles away in Sundance, whom i never saw

-The population was about 20-30 and everyone was a liberty/freedom lover and a pleasure to talk to.
-> smoking inside is illegal, but in the only bar no one gives a crap (smoke em if you got um)
-> they also knew how to have fun just about every night
-> they were very accepting, while there we made friends with most the locals and even got invited out to help herd some cattle

-Beyond all that I love how much space there is.. Wy actually has the lowest population density out of all US states (even less than Alaska!)
