"Q: May I grow medical marijuana myself?
A: No. Unlike other states where medical marijuana is permitted by law, New Jersey's citizens are not allowed to grow their own medical marijuana. This means they must rely on the services of medical marijuana dispensaries. At first, New Jersey will be limited to only six dispensaries, two in northern New Jersey, two in the central region, and two in the southern region. In time, more licensed dispensaries will open."
