Yes, Wutupski, and I blame you

So I guess that makes us even.

Did I tell you I brought Word Play to Taiwan, and read some of it, but not all of it. 61 was a good page.

BTW, I read this comment of yours last night and it inspired me to do something that I'd heard of, but never done.

Amazon now has a deal whereby if you buy an ebook, you can buy the discounted audio book from their subsidiary, Audible.com. And then - get this - you can seamlessly listen, then read in your kindle, then switch back and forth. Everything syncs up automatically. The details are here:

Last night, having finished Ready Player One (which I highly recommend, if just for the descriptions of the future of virtual reality), I got WIRED for .99, and the Audible ebook for I think $3.49 ("regular price" $23.something). I'm on a science fiction kick, apparently.

I started listening to it, and I think it was good, but I can't be sure because I fell asleep.

You do need a smart phone (as opposed to a dumb phone) to make it work however. Some people are opposed to technology, so they don't like that aspect.

How about you? Are you for technology, or are you against it?

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
