No, not because Canada or Mexico blah blah

You all are basing your ideals on fantasy, not reality. The reality is we live in a time and a nation that does not purport to hold the same policies you are discussing, so your points are completely mute. I do not condone anyone emulating anyone else, but the fact is they do emulate tough immigration policies, so we can talk about the what if's or we can discuss reality.

I've got an idea, you call me when the laws change. Talking about what you want in your fantasy world is one thing, having a valid discussion based on today's laws and actions is quiet another, one that many here fail to grasp. The utopia discussed here matters not in the real world, in your fantasy world there would be no borders or limits on resources, food would fall like rain from the sky, and illegals would cross the border and pen cheap health care clinics, but again this is not reality. I am not sure why it is being discussed as if it were?

From the UKIP website verbatim:
"Peoples and Nations of Europe have the right to protect their borders and strengthen their own historical, traditional, religious and cultural values."
So once again, not sure what fantasy land you are living in, the land I refer to is the United States of reality, not the utopia that does not exist, and this is why I am confused at every turn. No one has provided a valid argument to the way things are today, not the Libertarian land of fairies and free food.

To clarify one thing I do not claim to be a Libertarian, never have nor will, and the more the DP turns into a Libertarian meeting place the more I understand why it is impossible for the Libertarian party to win even a small local election, most of what has been thrown my way has been utter fabrication of reality, and I do not mind debating factual information, but when anyone can simply declare I have lost my mind because one day pigs may fly, then I must step out with the adults, as pretend time for me ended in the 3rd grade, and that was many many years ago.

The last paragraph is really telling about your position. I am a Constitutional Republican, life long, and nothing more. DPers do not define me, and as a Libertarian you are not supposed to believe in collectivism, yet your final though reeks of it. Open borders will do nothing but ensure a definite welfare state as under educated individuals come here to find that farming is no longer a valid form of work for the masses, yet they have no other skills other than reproducing and jumping on the welfare bandwagon, which is the reality we see today. While your Utopian world continues to spin the one thing I will agree with you on is the reform on welfare, yet your ideals are the coal that burns that welfare fire, and I am not sure how anyone cannot see this?

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams
If they hate us for our freedom, they must LOVE us now....

Stay IRATE, remain TIRELESS, an
