you can't serious

You guys are complaining about this wall? This wall is a joke than anyone can easily jump. In Texas, there is no wall at all. At the Big Bend National Park, the Rio Grande is like 5 feet wide. You can just jump across. Even if a wall were to be put up all along the border, it would be useless unless there are manned guard towers within sight of each other. I have no idea how much that would cost, but I sure don't want to pay for that.

And then it would start to look ominously like the Iron Curtain. Have you guys ever seen the Iron Curtain? There aren't many pictures on the Internet and they don't do it justice. Imagine an 8 foot electrified fence with razor wire on top, then a mine field, and then another fence of loops of pure razor wire. Climbing the fence with gloves on would change the resistance of the current and set of alarms. All this with guard towers that housed guys with machine guns.

And people still got across. I know many stories I could share. Stories which shine with human ingenuity and the unquenchable thirst for freedom. The Iron Curtain is one of the biggest symbols of human oppression I can think of, and you would like to erect something like that on our border? How anti-libertarian can you get? Remember what Ron Paul said. You put up a wall like that, and, someday, that wall will be used to keep people in.
