But some things people need to learn for themselves. Or so I was told. Hey, yeah, now that I'm thinking of it, I *was* told. Guess some things people need to learn for themselves and some things people can be told; or some things some people need to learn for themselves, whereas others can be told; that is, aside from those things that all people need to learn for themselves (or be told).
In any event, your having misconstrued my comment is certainly something I *could* have told you, but really, not to sound dramatic or anything, but the whole issue paled in significance compared to joyous thoughts you elicited in how you chose to articulate your own:(close your ears, jon) playing that "other word game." http://www.toysrus.com/graphics/product_images/pTRU1-2786481...
Two more things:
.....1) if you know anything about me at all from being a fellow sound junkie, you should know this. I'm now reminded of a song. No, not Blondie--- LOL!!! Out of curiosity, I just went to find out exactly when "Call Me" came out, so I googled Blondie Call Me wiki. Well, that's what I meant, but I accidentally hit the "s" instead of "w" - told by google "The word "siki" has been filtered from the search because Google SafeSearch is active." I'd have thought it would be spelled "sickie," but I guess they use the same dictionary jon does. :) Here's the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6k9XZB6O26w
.....2) My question was not rhetorical. You were only too quick to supply an opinion when you misread the question, not so quick to supply an opinion now that you are fully aware of what it was I was actually asking. Well? Any ideas?
Oh yeah, one more thing to anyone who's read this far and just gots to know. Call Me came out in early 1980. Wow. She sure does look like she's having fun, huh?
When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
