Comment: He's the authority?

He's the authority?

Oh, the people don't need shotguns or rifles? And if they don't need them, they shouldn't have them? Interesting argument. Let's see, what else do they not need?

Blue dye. Heck, any fabric dye is not NEEDED. Nobody is going to freeze to death without indigo coloring.

Candy. It rots your teeth.

Alcohol. Enough said.

Cell phones. We did just fine before we had them.

Cash. Everything ought to be digital.

Wall decorations.

Extra gasoline. Learn to carpool or use public transportation or go electric, evil earth haters.

Fancy clothes

Bakinis. Oh, wait ... never mind.

One piece swim suits. Come on, when you swim, you don't need the extra fabric weighing you down.

Gay marriage. Totally a waste of energy.

Marriage at all. People can just live with each other without that unnecessary ceremony junk.

Musical instruments. Not necessary for survival.

Flip flops

Trials. A cop's word is gold and is all that is necessary.

The list could just go on and on and on about what someone can arbitrarily decide what other people NEED.
