Dictators don't kill (many) people at all.

It's the philosophy of Statism that makes all the mass-murders possible -- not the particular variety. Communism, socialism, republicanism, democracy and monarchy have all done their share of killing.

Dictators, kings and presidents hardly ever kill a lot of people -- personally. The millions of dead are always slain by people in the grip of the Statist superstition that "following orders" or "obeying the law" is always morally right. People who believe that dictators, kings and presidents have a moral right to rule others and control their conduct are the actual murderers.

Statism, not some dictator or other, is the root of most human evil.
