I guess I have a different perspective. I wish Dr. Brantly well, and I'm glad he's back in the US.
It was all over the local Atlanta news - the entire process was covered live. Seems like it all went very well. I'm glad that Dr. Brantly's family will be able to visit him (from behind glass, of course) and I'm impressed with his unselfishness. He stayed to treat the sick in Africa despite great personal risk, and I truly hope the disease doesn't take his life.
Am I worried about Ebola spreading in the US? Of course I'm concerned, but I don't think that Dr. Brantly will be the one to spread it. It's more likely to come through our open southern border.
