And what I suspect

is that you lack the mental acuity to empathise with MN. Or perhaps there is a gaping hole in your emotional makeup. And so you feel the need to stir up trouble, for some twisted personal satisfaction.

MN has said some things that I disagreed with, in the past. He has banned some people that I didn't think deserved it, in the past. But that is because MN and myself are two different people. And he owns the darn site! It is his right, and mine to leave if I'm sufficiently bothered by this.

Also, I lurked for quite some time here, before joining. I have seen many people come and go. And, in my opinion, the slack you have to tug on to get banned here is very, very long indeed. This site is one of the most tolerant places I have encountered on the internet. Its run by very few people (whose workloads must be rather high), and I doubt it draws a huge income. And even if it did, that income has been generated as the result of MN's and the moderators hard work. Period. I don't come here because I believe I should be able to say what I like, whenever I like. I come here because MN's website allows me to say far more than other websites about the issues I care about, regardless of whether Mr Nystrom concurs.

If you don't like the place, feel free to take a hike. Jack.

EDIT: Oh, and your post made me think. Even though my funds aren't too flush at the moment, your post tipped me over the edge and I donated today. Thanks for the effort, Michael and mods. I wish I had more to give. There are very few places online I (as a free thinker) feel at home.
