Comment: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"

(See in situ)

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge"

For what it's worth, it's Hosea 4:6. Interesting habits abound in that chapter as well:

- There is no faithfulness or loyalty,
and no knowledge of God in the land. (4:1)
- Swearing, lying, and murder, and stealing and adultery break out;
bloodshed follows bloodshed. (4:2)
- So called leaders "feed on the sin of my people;
they are greedy for their iniquity." (4:8)

But in Hosea 6:6, we also have:
- For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice,
the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
