Um, so are you saying that words

spelled with a G and pronounced with a "soft" G are okay to be SPELLED that way, too? IF the reason JILL is okay is because it's referring to the GILL, i.e., the British measurement - spelled gill, pronounced jill - then will Anadrome accept, for example, these words?

ajent, budjet, anjel, danjer, emerjency, jerm, jel, lejend, injest, jem, jenerate, jentle, urjent, aje, caje, engaje, waje, huje, bridje, dodje, edjy, jypsy... oh, lots more, not to mention all the "olojy" words.

I don't wish to make any assumption here, but your reply does make one wonder!
