The Open Church, by James Rutz

He's certainly unconventional, and points out some huge flaws in the typical 'closed to all but the clergy' church.
One of my favorites is his list of Scriptural commands that are impossible to keep in the confines of the Closed on Sunday, unless it's Sunday School (not the main service!) church:

*Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another. (Col. 3:16)

*Bear one another's burdens. (Gal. 6:2)

*Encourage each other and build one another up. (1 Th. 5:11)

* Respect those who work hard among you. (1 Th. 5:12)

*Warn the idle, encourage the timid. ((1 Th. 5:14)

*Pray for one another that you may be healed. (James 5:16)
(for further clues, 1 Cor.14:26, 1 Corinthians 12)
