Many tv stations use a form of subliminal advertising by turning the volume up a lot louder during commercials than movies volumes. I know for a fact hbo and showtime do this, altho its between movies and not commercials per se, and almost all "superstations" on cable do too. Those onscreen logos most channels use are for the same purpose. I unsubscribed from every channel that uses logos and I advise everyone else to do the same.
