My brother is a police officer, and I always remind him that people do stupid things because of something in their life that we cannot understand. As officers, even with the worst of the worst people, you need to have compassion, because you never know what that person may have seen or been through in his or her life. I am so grateful to hear of a State Trooper none the less who is willing to keep compassion, and the Constitution in his code of ethics. It will keep you safer, and it will make people that you arrest or ticket, respect you for doing your job. Keep up the great work, I hope your leadership catches on to all law enforcement. It is not right for people to be afraid of law enforcement, and I am afraid that seems to be the case today. You are moving in a great direction. May God keep you safe.
Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine
