The common thread

I imagine would be something like "globalization."

Everyone is losing control over their own lives due to globalization in one form or another. In the end people are angry and frustrated over the fact that they do not, and cannot control their own destiny.

It reminds me of something this lady at the RNC said about the protesters: "They don't even know what they're protesting."

I imagine that is right. But they do know that something is very, very wrong. Like the hard money advocates note: Not a person in 10,000 understand that the government is eroding their savings through inflation. All they know is that they're poor, and it is not their fault. They followed all the rules, then got screwed.

So I guess the common thread would be something like: Anger

To be mean is never excusable, but there is some merit in knowing that one is; the most irreparable of vices is to do evil out of stupidity. - C.B.
