I'm a 23-year-old living in

I'm a 23-year-old living in Northern Virginia (but I grew up in Yorktown, Virginia) and I manage and edit GIS/databases for a small company just outside of D.C.

I was largely apathetic about politics until mid-2004, when the election race was building up and things were getting nasty in Iraq (Fallujah, I believe it was). In mid-2005, I recall reading about the Bush administration and the various scandals (Plamegate, Downing Street, Karl Rove, etc.) during my lunch break in Wal-mart, from there my anger and frustration increased.

I have voted mostly for democrats (I regret voting for Kerry) and voted in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Ron has made me realize that we can't do "lesser of two evils" and so from now on, I'm only voting for "underdogs" and 3rd-party candidates.

What initially got me interested in Ron Paul was seeing him mentioned on a message board sometime after Ron schooled Giuliani on blowback, but I also saw several posters/banners/stickers throughout southeastern Virginia over this past summer. I eventually did some thorough research on him and I took it all - hook, line, and sinker!
