Comment: Actions speak louder than
Actions speak louder than
Actions speak louder than words. Glenn Beck's actions over the past year shows me that he understands the virtues of free-market economics fairly well and since he shares very similar views to Ron Paul, I consider him an ally. However, that doesn't mean that Mr. Beck (or anyone in the entire world) could go back upon their idealism as anything is possible so it's not bad to want to feel guarded.
Nonetheless, I believe the statements that Glenn Beck is a "traitor" is a bit harsh and I am fully aware that Mr Beck made some ridiculous comments made about the November 5th money bomb and equating Ron Paul supporters as terrorists. I actually wrote Mr. Beck a couple nice letters (not denouncing him, but rather providing him the message of liberty) and I can see a change in him as he realized that there are very few Congressmen like Ron Paul who stands upon principle and follows his word.
In any case, please cease in calling Glenn Beck a "traitor" for I find him 95% the same on nearly all the issues as we agree upon and I think it's irresponsible to use that language upon people who are speaking the truth.
Also, the biggest rift between Glenn Beck and Ron Paul was the war issue. I attempted to communicate in my letters to Mr. Beck that Ron Paul isn't saying that we should just cut and run, but rather he's talking about the economics of war and that we are literally broke as a nation and will have to soon decide if we can manage an empire around the world or continue to spread ourselves thin until our economy collapses and we no longer have a choice.
