Mod Suggestion Box

is PayPal your payment method?

If so, and you entered the information on paypal, you must update that information in paypal. See here for more info, possibly here.

you should be able to check your order history

here.

Strictly speaking, most subscribers probably use funds from their paypal accounts, so it shouldn't matter.

But it looks like there's a "pay with credit card" option, which might be what you've done.

There does not appear to be a July payment. I'd cancel the membership then reactivate it using the new card.

NOTICE TO MODS ...

... please check your ads for malware.

I just had a new tab open in Firefox claiming my virus software might be out of date. Looks like a scam. It happened twice, and I did not click on anything. I do have other tabs to other sites open, so I don't know if it is the DP, but please check it out.

Thanks.

Jon, are you here? Michael

Jon, are you here? Michael says I should post my concern here even though I posted it to the web site link at the bottom of the page. My old posts do not seem to be available any longer. I can only see posts back to 2012. I know I've posted before that.

Thanks.

howdy

Offhand I can't tell where "I posted it to the web site link at the bottom of the page" is referencing, or which "old posts" specifically are missing (as in by URL).

I can say your old posts are as accessible as everyone else's a number of ways:

Via the Archive, where every day is linked:
http://www.dailypaul.com/archive

Or the posts tab on your account (which include body summaries):
http://www.dailypaul.com/user/13949/nodes

Or lastly, via the old, gray (all) link next to Recent Posts on your account profile:
http://www.dailypaul.com/myposts/13949

...And it looks like that is the one, since it ends in 2012 for you, with no further options to paginate (aha, as you mention here). Ok. Checking the stuff that makes that page, I see it is paginated, as can be seen on my page of it:
http://www.dailypaul.com/myposts/15029

The difference? My account says I have:

Nodes : Comments
132 : 6442

Yours says:

Nodes : Comments
44 : 906

The /myposts/#### display paginates if you have 50+ nodes, which I do (132) and you do not (44). Your first post with that account is here:
/260196/the-ron-paul-liberty-corvette-is-for-sale

Now, you have comments going back to March of 2012, we do differentiate between posts and comments:
http://www.dailypaul.com/mycomments/13949

Might you be recalling those?

In the event you still think you have older posts, first try recalling if you have an older DP account with that content but switched to using this account at some point. If not, try finding the old content with the links provided. From my perspective, you don't have a post older than this.

Well darn... I was sure I had older posts but I guess I was just a lurker back then. Thanks for your help.

This is July 2nd, and registration was to be free today at 9:00am? My friends have waited for months and months. I just sent them emails letting them know that the free registration was a joke, not real.

What do you call it when for months you had online July 2 free registration? I call it a lie.

Please delete my account, I will not ask twice.

Where did you get that info? I don't know where that info came from, but it was a mistake. I apologize for the mistake.

So long.

Thanks for the heads up.

Actually registration is, and has been closed to the public for a long time. There were a few threads posted about it. We're sorry you didn't see them.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are currently not accepting registrations to the site and how long that may continue is undecided at this point in time. We may never re-open it.

Meanwhile I'll get with Michael and Jon about removing any registration notices that may still be in place.

I saw that last night

and thanks for the help.
What I did find was the adblock was deleted, not sure how though.
But even with the adblock running,When I click on my acct,or comments I get another tab opening, most times to an ins sight.
I do have a question,would/could something on IE (which I don't use)
cross over into firefox and make it run slow? I realize this is not a DP related topic. So feel free to disregard,it won't hurt my feelings, and I know you all are busy.

Good grief

That has nothing to do with the DP.

Daily Paul keeps crashing in Chrome

The tab freezes up, but I can close the tab and other tabs keep working. No other website causes these problems. Any suggestions?

I cannot duplicate this Ed

My main browser is Chrome, and I haven't experienced any problems.

Any updates?

This is a program supported by Dr. Paul. Thanks.

I just recently noticed the search variables on my comments

like here and found that extremely helpful. I don't know how long it's been there but it's a great idea. Thanks.

Are any paid advertising spots available?

I was wondering if any paid ad spaces were available on the DP for Revolution Car Badges.

This is the response received:

Hello,

Thank you for applying to iSocket For Advertisers, and we're sorry that we were not able to accept you at this time. Being a small company with limited resources means we often have to make difficult decisions about who we work with, buyers and publishers included. Typically we require buyers to work for verifiable and reputable agencies, trading desks, or large advertisers, with a demonstrated history of success executing direct deals. As time moves on our requirements will evolve, and we hope to someday be able to work with everyone.

Thank you for your interest, and we'll let you know if anything changes on our side.

Best,
iSocket support team
