A lot of people on this forum seem to be well educated on history. Can people suggest their favorite book or 2? I would like to compile a list and check them out to read them.
Thanks for any suggestions...

thanks for the suggestions.
thanks for the suggestions. Anyone else have any good suggestions?
The one that brought it together...
Creature From Jekyll Island... I've read a lifetime of history, this one hit it out of the park....
Here's a few I would recommend
The Constitution and all the other founding documents going back to the Magna Carta.
The Federalist Papers - Hamilton, Madison, others (arguments for the new US Constitution)
The Anti-Federalist Papers - Jefferson, Patrick Henry, others (arguments against it)
A Basic History of the United States - By Clarence B. Carson (a history book in multiple volumes that is not written by the elite)
The Creature From Jekyll Island - G. Edward Griffin (history of the Fed. Reserve)
The above are available at http://www.shopjbs.org.
The Medusa File: Secret Crimes and Coverups of the U. S. Government - Craig Roberts (each chapter exposes government lies, corruption and murder e.g., black ops, drug running, TWA 800, Oklahoma City, etc.)
available at http://www.riflewarrior.com/
Understand that...
most publishers have been owned by the dark side for a long time and that any "author" has most likely been paid off by "them" so that history has a certain look.
I suggest going here- I know its real "heavy'' but truth is never easy for the seeker nor should it be. http://www.iamthewitness.com/books/Andrew.Carrington.Hitchco...
Also go here www.trueworldhistory.info/ watch 'Money Masters" essential for all DP folks!

History Book
A People's History of the U.S. by Howard Zinn is a good read. The work offers a bottom up perspective of our collective history rather than a top down presidential focus like many survey texts do. Enjoy!
Nay
Zinn is a stooge for Zogzilla go here scroll down- he is mentioned~ http://www.rense.com/general79/amake.htm My karma ran over your dogma~

Have you read the book?
It's a fine book, especially if you know to stay alert for Zinn's philosophy.
