the eligibility question and many others are just as important as ending the fed.. they all end up in the same place and take us down the same path..yes the fed is an important issue, but shining light on the lies and deceit that goes on in DC is just as important. The "Birth Certificate" issue is about the Constitution, we all support that.
It may be a Hail Mary pass, but If it gets through it will be a major blow to the "powers that be".

The very word "birther," like "Truther," is an epithet used to marginalize. I reject this label and yet I do want Obama to release all of his records or be removed from office.

Moreover, the naive dualism of some of the posts below is disturbing. "End the Fed!" they say, "but no one may be interested in anything else." I don't see any conflict with chewing gum and walking at the same time, sorry.

Some anti-religious bigots on this site want to have nothing to do with theism. However, instead of rejecting the religious conservatives, we need to embrace them and in fact they are already a part of our movement.

I agree that the Federal Reserve issue is by far the most important issue due to the traction, but I must express that I also find the story about Obama's citizenship to also be very important and it's rather easy to discuss from my end as I have been researching this story for years.

All Obama has to do is release his birth certificate and we can be done with this matter. It's a rather simple request and to see that he's spent nearly a million dollars to block the release of this important Constitution requirement means this story has legs. All we have to do is ask for the release of his birth certificate and deal with the story from that end. Remember, Obama promised the people more transparency so he's literally in a catch-22 by his own words.

Telling people to stop being curious and asking questions about the Usuper Soretoro is likely one of the dumbest ideas ever. I share everyones passion for restoring constitutional government and sound economics, but to tell me that I am wrong for asking for proof that the president I am forced to follow is even elligible or if 2 planes crash into 2 buildings but 3 fall... to tell me that I am wrong for asking those questions is foolish.

I have some family members who are into president bashing or worship... depending on which party is "in" at the time. I have repeatedly asked that our e-mail communications be on a more personal note, but they continue with their neo con mailings. Finally I began to retort with information about the Fed, saying that THAT is where we taxpayers should be focusing, rather than the petty rivalries between the parties, divisions that are distracting from what is leading to the downfall of our country. Rather than focusing on Republicans vs Democrats, we should be focusing on the Federal Reserve vs All Americans! I don't think I will change their minds, but I sure do feel better about the whole thing!

I'll address this one, though I will no longer respond to birth cert. I personally have & NEVER in my life have had an agenda..I am not an activist persay & I wish I could just go back to life as usual, my interests are not even approaching activism..My problem is having & not following LAW & RULES.. ALL my life I live by following the rules.. I have raised a succesfull family ,Paid my share of taxes ,been a good, no trouble citizen , a hard worker ,a small businessman at times & basicly lived as I was told, is correct..I paid for SSI & paid for medicare & pay for medicade..NOW ,those who I have satisfied want to change the rules, AGAIN. I have been MORE than tollerant, when tollerance was at a premium I now find myself alienated by others who were, in the past, considered my fellow citizens & who I have been tollerant of.. I follow the rules as best a person can..
