Mold and more mold Everywhere I go. Dead serious health post.
Everyone knows that molds can be toxic to humans. But, I was unaware of just how toxic they can be and how sensitive a large portion of us can be to toxic mold. Look into the books called Mold Warriors by Ritchie C Shoemaker and Your Guide To Mold Toxins by Rosen and Schaller. Many people are misdiagnosed with arthritis, parkinson's, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, IBS, celiac's, migraines, MS, etc. The true cause in many cases is a biotoxic overload caused by molds, algaes, and other biotoxin producing agents. Twenty five percent of humans have a genetic predisposition to not be able to clear biotoxins from the body according to the HLA DR marker. People with this gene type do not clear the toxins via the immune system like the other 75%. The toxins continue to accumulate until one of the mysterious diseases sets in and they feel horrible 24/7. All kinds of interesting things cascade out of the biotoxin overload. Endocrine system disruptions, brain disruptions, central nervous system disorder, auto immune system crossfires, digestive changes, and michondria alterations. These doctors have been working on methods to clear the toxic overloads and have found relatively easy paths for the majority of the 25% group. There are some specifics and nuances that still perplex them, but they report amazing success over the past decade. Diagnosis is as simple as taking a preliminary written test, a visual contrast test, and a blood draw to determine if you have the gene type. https://www.chronicneurot... This website offers the first two tests for $15 if you think it applies to you or your family.

Thanks, eco. Great post. If we're going to be clear minded and
healthy we do have to develop a sense of EPA disaster area especially in our own homes.
Years ago our family went through weird health issues when we discovered the molds in our house in so many corners and crannies. We had it all removed properly. Weeks later we gradually did recovered our health.
It was sinus and respiratory hacking and coughing that just wouldn't leave us until the 'cause' was removed.
They just put up a new
They just put up a new convention center near by and there was mold already formed in new construction..Seems drywall came from China that allowed good breeding ground for mold ..Supposedly they cleaned it up ..HA!
YES, good people do good things.. The rest are liars.
As a contractor I've been exposed to tons " literally " of mold
Sometimes we would open a wall and find that huge yellow stuff with mushrooms growing off of it and the stench would knock you over.
There have been studies done on mold content and exposure that show that certain people can develop a tolerance, sort of an immunity to mold toxins but the key to this immunity was a lifetime of exposure . People who are very clean have a much higher chance of getting sick from it than people who don't stay clean . Dirty people have a higher tolerance to it. the study was done in the slums of cambodia and it was conclusive. It seems the human body can adapt to anything .
So so much for staying clean to be healthy huh ?

Stop the NWO....It's just illumi..Naughty !
That would make sense for
That would make sense for the people who are in the 75% group. Most of us clear biotoxins via the immune system, but according to these doctors the 25% group has a bug in their immune systems that doesn't create antibodies to biotoxins from molds, ticks, brown recluse spiders, and a few other similar toxins.
Very relevant
Very relevant in our house today. Here in the Northeast, we have had more rain in the last 6 weeks than I ever remember. Our carpets are musty and damp, I've got a nasty sinus headache. My nurse friend told me everyone is getting the same sinus issues because of all the dampness. I'd hate to see what's under the carpet.
Go to your local feed store
Go to your local feed store and buy a 50# bag of baking soda for about $15. Liberally apply to your carpets and then shop vac when tired of walking in powder. My daughter and I made baking soda angels in our house on the only small patch of carpet in the play room. Don't use your normal vacuum to clean it up. Rip out the carpets as if in a hazmat environment if the baking soda doesn't work. You'll be sorry if your house is mold hot and you are mold sensitive and you don't treat it like an epa disaster site.
My house had drainage problems that caused moisture in the basement. I got 80% reduction in water from cutting a french drain across the front of my house. I had to gut the basement when I found all kinds of nasty stuff in the walls and used a yellow waterproof sheet rock from GP called defense armor or something like that to redo the basement. I also striped the floor to the pad, sealed it with epoxy and the tiled the whole thing. I torched and sanded the timbers that had mold damage. Be sure to get a carbon respirator if your going to do any work yourself. My advice is to never have carpet in a house unless you live in a desert and only to use concrete or tile on lower levels.
Good luck
I also forgot to mention the
I also forgot to mention the HVAC air filters. I have always used the 3m filters that are better than the average kind. However, the mold toxins book suggests using the ultra maximum 1700 3m filtrete filter and changing it every month. There are $20 a whack, but that's minimal if health can be found.
wow - thanks!
I knew molds can be bad - didn't think we had any here, but we live in an old 1915 farmhouse w/basement...
long story short - maybe I WILL let the bank have it back...we'll see...
interesting post!

HAHAHA
I just moved out of a home that had a lot of mold. Built in 1910. It had a deep basement that had tons of it. I just sold it after living their for less than 2 years, and now live in a home that was built in 2006 with NO basement. All of my ailments are gone. I wake up brighter in the morning. I sleep better, I don't get sick or feel sluggish. I think we are on the same page.
Also......I have one of those Sharper image "Air Purifiers". The Ionic Breeze....which by the way works great. In the old home.....the air purifier would fill up with this moldy black soot in about a week and start making funny noises because it was so clogged and needed cleaning. In my new house, It barely even has regular colored dust collected on the collection chamber after a month.
You are onto the culprit here.
I would send an anonymous
I would send an anonymous copy of the Mold Toxins book to your old address so that they might get some relief. Some of the stories in the Mold Warriors book are just tragic for the people who can't clear mold toxins. The Mold Toxins book is fairly thin and more practical at remediation. The Mold Warriors book is thick and gets into the medical explanations of what happens in the biotoxin pathways. Very interesting, but it's too much for someone who is in a brain fog stupor.
I'm sure it applies to me
I've had lupus for 40 years. Grew up in a town surrounded by petroleum plants, and had frequent shots of penicillin. By the time I was twelve I was very ill, but not diagnosed correctly until age twenty-eight. My life was like walking in a nightmare and not being able to wake up.
Thank God I know what's wrong with me now, at least. I've also been reading some sites about mycoplasma in these vaccines that's interesting. The symptoms of lupus are almost identical to Gulf War Syndrome.
I now take acidophilus and raw garlic. It helps, but no cure.
I'll say one more thing, since this was brought up. I remember going in for a smallpox shot when I was about seven. The nurse said that my name was on a list, and my vaccine was different than the other children's. She said she didn't know why, because she thought the vaccines were all the same.
I have heard that we are targeted as children, according to our IQ and attitudes, and what's written on our report cards. I'm starting to have some serious questions.
