Please support HR 3395. The FDA should stop interfering in the communication between providers of nutrient-dense substances and the people who need them. The FDA violates the First Amendment right of free speech and prevents Americans from being able to avail themselves of healthful products; this would change if HR 3395 passed.

And please support HR 3394. Make the FTC bear the burden of proof that advertising of health claims on natural medicines and foods is deceptive. It IS true that various herbs and foods have a medicinal effect on the body- by enabling the promulgation of these benefits we can do something for the health of this nation rather simply. Aren't you interested in that?

It feels good to do things to preserve old-fashioned values and liberties, and to defend people against oppression. I hope you will not deprive yourself of this satisfaction through the course of your Congressional career."
