H1N1 VIRUS spreads like hell in Thailand
Submitted by OLIVERROBERT on Sun, 08/09/2009 - 06:41
I just spoke with a friend of mine in Bangkok and they said that the officially registered H1N1 swine flue cases have reached 1 million with 100 people deceased over there. The attached article still speaks about 500k cases but reports until Wednesday. Does anyone knows more. It seems nevertheless an incredible high number in relation to the population.( about 62 million), which would mean the infected people are nearly 2% of the population.

"What I believe about the Swine Flu" an article I read today
by Catherine Austin Fitts.

Since so many people are conditioned to think anyone who believes articles like this are paranoid--I didn't send this to many people--even though my gut thought is that EVERYONE needs to see this! There are many thoughtful comments posted about the article.

Test Subjects
A Military Secret No Longer
The Pentagon has confirmed that thousands of sailors were present during a decade-long series of classified tests to determine the vulnerability of U.S. warships to attack by chemical and biological warfare.
Marine attack bombers sprayed either simulants or live biological agents. Then the ships sailed through the resulting cloud and collected air samples. In some tests, caged monkeys were placed on deck and later tested to determine whether they had inhaled the material.
In the "hot tests,'' involving live biological warfare agents, the sailors took shelter in compartments rigged with positive-pressure ventilation designed to prevent the test material from infiltrating the ships. Other precautions included inoculations for rabbit fever and Q fever, two of the illnesses caused by the biological weapons employed, Pasteurella tularensis and Coxiella burnetti.
One former tug skipper has cancer of the esophagus. Another officer died after developing fibrous growths in his lungs. Dozens of others have varying degrees of respiratory problems, Alderson and others said. One old skipper, who did not want to be quoted by name, said that he collapsed and was critically ill for 18 days shortly after his Pacific service. The Navy doctors, who were not told of his involvement in the secret program, never diagnosed the cause of his collapse.

I read the article to be saying 500,000 cases WORLDWIDE,
not in Thailand. Though it does say the cases are spreading in upcountry Thailand, no number is given.
The thrust of the article is that tourism is down due to political unrest in Thailand plus worldwide concerns of flu.
I have received the info from a good friend there
He is not the person that usually exaggerates but I will call him tomorrow again( too late now) and ask him to verify cause I do not like to spread any false news here! I will ask him to forward me an article that shows the number of 1 Million that he pretended.

Just in time for my Japan trip
... next month.
don't worry about Japan
I was in Tokyo last week, Japan seems to be safe. I have the impression that they use Thailand as a test country to spread the virus otherwise it is impossible that so many people contracted it. How many have got it in the US? Anyone knows.

It may be a pandemic but no more dangerous the the flu
Very few people die from the swine flu and the ones that do are on chemotherapy and other various serious ailments with an already weakened immunity.
IT is a complete hype. www.drtenpenny.com
Yep!

Hmm,
I guess germ warfare against humanity is on.
Interesting
My brother in-law , my friend and her husband in Perth, Australia ALL tested positive for H1N1 this week. Although they all know each other, none of them contracted it from the same source.
How are they testing for it?
I know someone who was diagnosed with it and then later it was confirmed not to be swine flu but a sinus infection.
Jinc,
you initially state, "none of them contracted it from the same source".
Yet, in your follow-up post below, it then appears that no-one knows where they got it from.
well then that is great
since they have had it they no longer need to be vaccinated since they have now built immunity to it.
The best way is natural immunity!
How was it determined
where they contracted it from?
Honestly I dont know where they got it from
I mention that because the last time my brother in law saw them was 2 month and they live in different suburbs. My girlfriend in all likelihood did contract it from her husband who fell ill first. So its 2 not 3 different sources - it just seems like its spreading faster. Btw- they are all on the mend and the worst of it appears to be over- but it sure wipes you out. Brother didnt/isnt taking Tamiflu- but the couple are. I suggested to my friend that she shouldnt, even had a convo about Rumsfeld owning the stock when the flu first broke out in Mexico/ Calif. So she knows what I think about Tamiflu. Her response was "Well, thats what the Dr prescribed and it dosnt seem to be hurting everyone else whos been taking it". I still refuse.
Had any of them received flu shots before coming down with it?
