Absolutely. My kids did phone canvassing before the last election and did a great job on educating people. Many heard about Ron Paul, local libertarian minded candidates, and real issues! One of them had a lot of fun pretending to be Yoda calling, or Darth, etc. Lots of fun and you can get away with a lot. Say what you will. Go for it!

the public interested research groups who pay people in chicago, michigan etc. to canvass for donations to "stop global warming." they use the money to hire lobbyists.
*edit* these are the exact same people. the same people who do environment illinois and environment california etc. now, they're onto this.

use the opportunity to educate about Liberty door to door, use the money to print Obama "joker" signs, or to print R3VOLUTION signs and pass them out as you educate.
You may say that this is disingenuous, but is it any different than the hijacking of representative positions within our Republic by fascists and socialists?
