... full of mercury home from the U.S. Navy torpedo plant. We had that stuff all over the house. We enjoyed dropping it on the floor and watch all the beads go into different directions, then try to gather it up in one puddle. Not to mention all the mercury the dentist put in our mouths. Brother is 76, and I'm 66. He is still quick on his feet figuratively. The jury is still out on me ;)

This is one tree that the conspiracy dogs should be barking up. Mercury is quite toxic even at the microgram level, and it stays in your system for a damn long time. (It deposits in the fatty tissue in your nervous system).

However, this disease has never been conclusively linked to autism by any peer reviewed journal, and god knows they have tried.

Interestingly...they have found a VERY strong coorelation between autism rates and cable TV subscriptions.

IMHO (as humble as I get anyway) there is a disease behind autism, but it has been overdiagnosed by a factor of 100. Essentially, most cases of "the autism spectrum" are simply children who have parents too busy to have normal conversations in raising their children and are content to plop them in front of the television.

Television is damaging to communication skills, because a child learns only how to communicate one-way.

Blaming autism on mercury is a cop-out developed for parents who don't want to accept that they blew it in raising a well adjusted child. - end opinion.

That being said...injecting anyone, especially a baby, with any amount of mercury is insane. Let it be known that you are winning this battle...we're probably no more than a few years from eliminating mercury from vaccinations.
