Grow some balls man!
Write the truth and then defend it.
Quit asking for permission from those who refuse to allow the truth to be told.
Be a statesman and not another grovelling politician.
sniff "She can take it out of my paycheck."
From a document you should read again:
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."
I guess you, Mr. Culberson, are more concerned with your own fortune than with your honor.

We don't know if he has a fortune or his liabilities. My congressman's district population is about 700,000. If there are only 1/5 th that number of households, and he sends one newsletter per household, he could be wiped out after one or two newsletters.
He should get credit for telling the truth on tape and for voting against it. The real message of this video is political power and censorship.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
So the Speaker of the House is abridging the freedom of speech of other members and using tax dollars as a weapon to do so.
This is in direct conflict of the 1st amendment. The fact that tax money is attached to the censorship makes it government involved, and thus a violation. Go ahead and play semantic games if you want ie law vs house rule, it has the same effect.
He should publish what he wants and then deal with the 1st amendment issue if they try to carry out their threats.
Using government funds to send out propaganda or sanitized material is a major problem.
And what do you want to bet that even though they would not let him use the term "cap and tax" that they approve materials using terms like "tea baggers" or other such terms.
You're right on Freedom Watch- all actions in our fight should have a cost-benefit analysis with it. Some battles aren't worth the cost but getting the message out can still help.
Wow! ...
It is just like being in a pre-WWII socialist Banana Repulik!
Cool man!
Pelosi is the devil.
So why not have it taken out of his paycheck?
What law stops him from funding it?
I see an opportunity.
WUSS!
