Thank you. I went back to the Daily Paul page and I can not log in. When I click log in, it asks me to enter my user name and password, so I create one and it says that there is not one on record and does not give me any other options except to ask me if I forgot my password. If I choose this option, I am then told to enter my e-mail and it will send my password to me. I do this and it tells me that this e-mail is not in the system. I can't figure out how to sign up as a first time user.

I appreciate you support. I have been slammed since this whole thing started. I had no idea this would happen when I stood up at the town hall. I initially ignored this whole thing, even though I heard myself all over local radio. I put the video on youtube (first time I have ever put anything on youtube) to inspire my friends and family to get out there and do the same thing. 24 hrs later, Fox news was on the phone. I still don't know how they got my unlisted number.
While I have been very interested in politics since a young age, I never intended to run for national office. To be honest, the job doesn't sound like fun and Congressmen spend far to long away from their families. I would not have considered myself electable since I am very good at saying what I believe is the truth. This is generally not what people want to hear. They prefer elected officials who lie and tell them how much free stuff they are going to get.
That being said, I did take an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Brian Baird refuses to honor that oath, so I must attempt to remove him from his privileged seat of power. Because of the success of this video, I may have a real shot at dethroning him.
In the last election Brian Baird raised over $750,000. His opponent raised about $60,000. Brian Baird's war chest was almost entirely from special interests. On the Daily Paul forum, I am sure you all know how this works. You support Brian Baird and he will support your cause or business. With taxpayer dollars of course.
I have to take off for work now, (I'm an accountant by the way) but I will get into more specifics at a later date. I do want to make it clear, that I support the Constitution as written and not how anyone wishes it had been written.

I understand your excitement for this guy from his statements but he hasn't really said anything that someone like Bill O' Reilly or Glenn Beck wouldn't have said. How is it that DPers do not see this?
Yes - I want there to be at least ONE educator in office at all times -- One vote does not cause perpetual war. However, when you start putting up stranger after stranger as potential liberty candidates -AND- if they should all win -- you are increasing the lobby-profits on the remaining politicians.
How can you any of you by now not understand that: to vote is to war (perpetually -- and this was Trotsky's axiom) and not only that but we "lobby" for our "liberty party" which is another form of perpetual war.
You cannot vote (abdicate away or steal) self-rule; from yourself or others, -TO- regain self-rule. It is the most fallacious premise I've ever heard of.
The answer is to throw all our "lobbying dollars" into counter-economics -- innovate the delivery system, develop passive income streams, work under-the-table (more and more), buy local organic, buy local services (under-the-table) and products as much as possible.
Our "lobby" is "Dear Corporations, we will go back to buying your products when you promise to never lobby or vote again -AND- when you get congress to End the Vote and End the Lobby; ushering us into Consumer-Individualism and the ZERO Abdication Society."

Your points are valid BUT: many of us are NOT
1.adequately educated in law to navigate freedom through the barricades of current laws denying independent choice and action
2. strong enough to risk landing in prison, as have Irwin Schiff and so many good people who steered by a moral compass.
Even if we may try living off the grid etc., underground, etc. right now there are not enough of us to change the social climate by those means alone. There aren't enough awake people in my area to start even a rudimentary barter club. I haven't seen how to do it over distance since one immediately would be tracked and taxed by the government.
I disagree that we only need 1 educator in office, though I hear your concern that ANYone may be corrupted by power and co-opted into the system. But RP didn't and I believe there can be other strong ones like him that will make a difference. And yes, to vote means waging war since a win forces our views on others. But if our candidates are there to eliminate aggressive policies and programs, it's a tactical step.
It's a matter of getting from here to freedom. We need every one of us in the freedom movement being as effective in our sphere of influence as as possible. A few, like Molyneaux can win a big following for his very pure philosophy. Other non-aggression advocates like Mary Ruwart work it both ways. Her book, Healing Our World, describes pure non-aggressive solutions, but she also did run for office as a Libertarian Party candidate.

Depending on your "work" -- You probably can get 1099 while you begin to develop more passive income streams. In both cases you can "bury" 30% or more of your income and find creative ways to write as much off as possible.
A website that aids in the above and is made in open-source social-networking fashion -and- is very sticky (fun) -or- provides a unique service will be the rallying point.
It's from this site we would give our demands to major corporations, who we under the above system have been ignoring. We demand that they seise all lobbying and voting.

That would be great. Ron Paul is a great man. He stands on his convictions and faithfully interprets the Constitution to the best of his ability. That is a very rare quality in the politicians of today.
I was on the website and I could not find a place to sign up so that I could comment on the forum.
Some people were wondering if I was serious about this oath to the Constitution thing. I am. If I am elected to the U.S. Congress, the first question I will ask myself when any piece of legislation hits my desk is, "what does the constitution say?". The answer to that question will determine my next step.
