Where is it?

Where in the USC are the organic laws? Are they in a section before Title 1? I googled, and googled, and I cannot find it.

The March of DC on Sept. 12:

Marilyn in Lake Jackson

Why isn't the march on DC on Sept. 12 that Glenn Beck as been talking about, and says he will cover of Fox, been talked about here? (The 912 march, I think). I did read something about it in an email from Campaign for Liberty, and I think there are thousands expected. The email I got said there are groups from across the U.S. going, but I haven't seen it mentioned here.

MarilynInLakeJackson

Because we have enough sense to realize 2 things

Mike in my home office.
1) Marches are and have always been 100% USELESS. Especially on Saturdays.
2) Glenn Beck is CIA and the whole point is to catalog attendees and possibly even encite some violence.

Maybe we could all write a letter or sign a petition next, it will have just as much impact.

Mike

you two are cracking me up with your little signature lines in your headings. But, really Mike, I see no harm, as a matter of fact, I think it is good for us to be at 912 events. Glenn is hijacking our movement, we need to go into 912s completely aware of this and enlighten people.

See-what Glenn is doing is using the words, "Wake Up, America" to mean you are awake if you don't like what our government is doing under the current administration. WE are using "Wake Up, America" to mean we don't like this huge government run outside of the current administration. Glenn will steer our vote to Palin who has already capitulated to the NWO, we will steer our vote OUT of the CFR/Trilateral Commission and back to federalism. Glenn is not the answer. BUT, the people don't totally understand yet. They think they are awake when they are still rubbing their eyes-just wait until they take the red pill. But we need to be there to offer the red pill. The more of us there spreading the real deep rabbit hole, the better.

Mike, goodness, don't you know they already have our names. I have "secede" on my vehicle and "Constitution." They have my voting record. Glenn is trying to start a fight, as are others and we have to stay out of it, no doubt. Common Sense was the instigator of the first revolution they say and here he is with it again. But these rallies show the people the numbers even if they don't get onto the msm. The news gets out on the net and the videos are fantastic and the speakers, some are excellent-like the Judge.

Know your enemy, but don't allow them to operate freely.

Marilyn in Lake Jackson Well

Marilyn in Lake Jackson
Well I'm sorry, Mike. Thanks for enlightening me. I suppose I'm one who doesn't have enough sense!

Maybe it could be started with a sit in on the Capital steps or

on the mall. It would have to be a continuous sit in or camp out by thousands to get our govt back and to get people to wake up and throw out the crooks. Prbably would get negative press from CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the paid for media but may wake up some and never know where it could grow. Good time to start it would be when the Tea Party Express pulls into town.

IT IS NOT A WASTED VOTE!

A sit in!!!

HA!

Okay, but I really don't have time to waste on that.

Do you honestly think a "sit in" is going to accomplish anything?

Far be it from me though to stop you. I'll pass on participating though.

Good luck. I hope it works as it sure would save us a lot of trouble if it doesn't.

(though if sit-ins worked, don't you think they would have by now?)

Nothing wrong with a sit in

The more the better. A rally is just a "stand in." But a sit in on the steps is a bit more in their face. No one has to participate, but why degrade it. Let it be for the people who can and will do it. No point in announcing what you WON'T do, just what you WILL do.

The important thing is to DO anything and everything you can think of. Don't sit at home, complain about it to a few friends, refuse to donate, refuse to vote, refuse to go to rallies, refuse to email or fax, refuse to talk about the government, refuse to read about the government, refuse to look at the chemtrails in the sky, refuse to research 911, refuse to think our govt could possibly be bad, refuse to think they could do anything at all because "after all they are stupid," refuse to think they botched Katrina on purpose, refuse to think the Fed is private, refuse to think Obama/Bush will make us communist, refuse to listen to anyone unless they are talking about Hanna Montana.

Learning the TRUTH is our DUTY!

Revolution?

No.

You learn the truth and stop watching these talking heads on TV.

They are selling you down the river...lose them.

Stop giving your power away to other people.

Find your own moral authority, The one that God gave you.....then the world of men telling you what to do will be over.

I suppose you could then say that most of us are not doing

our duty, are we!

He is right, but... !

He doesn't say how to do it !

(By the way, Abraham Lincoln said a similar thing about dismantling and overthrowing the government in his Second Inaugural address).

Anyhow, I get weary of people continually calling for a revolution (which might be a fine idea) but without any specifics of how it is to be done.

I honestly do not think that civilians with weapons will prevail, but that's just my opinion. Maybe they will. Is that what the Judge is calling for? Hard to tell from this short speech.

this should answer some of your questions....

just realize this... there is a line in the sand about what can be posted here at DP ... there is a real way a Revolution could be won without (much) bloodshed... however.. to post it here would either get it deleted... censored...or would alert (perhaps) the wrong type of authorities if you know what I mean.... but the above post shows a pretty close way to having a Revolution as peacefully as possible.... w/o crossing the posting line in the sand so to speak.......

i can tell you one thing for sure...

no offense but, the revolution won't be fought from a tropical island!

...stay tuned, you'll get a playbook...perhaps you can help

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

O Captain! My Captain! Rise up and hear the bells!

Thank goodness. That is why I am here !

No offense taken.

When / where is this speech

When / where is this speech from? I would like to look up the full version so that I can watch / listen to it.

I really enjoy speeches by The Judge. He is one of the most fierce defenders of individual liberty and understands our Constitution better than probably all others. He truly believes in liberty and of the notion that the government works for us (and not the other way around).

This is someone who I definitely would support as a political candidate at any level of government, including the Presidency. He is a true patriot.

Here it is... enjoy

It is the best speech ever!

If it is to be, it is up to WE!!

I'm watching this

In the beginning of it she says, "Get government out of the money business." I don't understand that. The Fed Res is not government. It is private. That is the problem. Our Constitution allows our government to be in the money business. It allows the govt to coin the money. Anyone have an explanation to straighten out my thinking?

Government and Money

It's the government that gives the Fed its monopoly on creating money, so the government is therefore at the heart of it.

This may have been so...

-but the President does appoint the Chairman of the Fed, if I am not mistaken. The power to coin money was originally the right of Congress, they abdicated this right to the Federal Reserve in 1913. The so-called Income Tax was passed shortly after , and we have steadily lost economic and personal freedoms ever since.

Federal Reserve Notes are

Federal Reserve Notes are legal tender. Enforced by?........You guessed it!! The United States of America. They(Federal Reserve) are proof that government can't be trusted with the power over money. We will abolish the Fed AND abolish this government privilege. I think digital commodity backed currencies are the future.

Good Stuff...

Great speaker!

He really needs to run for President

I have a new beef that has nothing to do with the Judge. WAKE UP, America!! That is a phrase that has been hijacked by the propaganda neocons. Everyone, including us, who does not like what is going on right now is saying, "Wake up, America." And acting all frustrated. They, the really-good-at-propaganda neocons, know darn good and well that they are pretending a person is awake when he JUST doesn't like what Obama is doing. They know Waking Up is to understand the whole CFR/Trilateral Commission thing, but they are pretending that a person is awake if he/she simply is against what is going on in the Obama administration. They really still think what Bush did was mostly ok, well except for this or that, they will say. They have hijacked our message and are pretending to "be awake" and to be "really with it" is to "follow them/" but they are still very much Muslim killing, globe occupying neocons. The neocons have gone nowhere except out in front of US. We have to fight this. Glenn especially is good at this and others, like his replacement on his radio show today. They are totally neocons and you can hear it if you listen closely. Come election, they will have all the "still asleep" conservatives following them blindly over the cliff. They are keeping them asleep by not really teaching them what waking up is all about. Bush is their leader/that is why no 911 skepticism is allowed. We aren't truthers--we are skeptics. We don't believe 911. Surely everyone on planet earth is a "truther." Doesn't everyone want the truth? No, we are skeptics. We don't believe what the government dishes. Waking up is realizing the government doesn't tell the truth about FEMA, chemtrails, 911, JFK, space program, or any other darn thing.

You're getting closer to recognizing liberty

psst.... wake up.

You think you're awake? Do you believe in government still? I'll help you along the path to liberty.

How can you delegate a right which you do not have to anyone else? In other words, if you believe that government derives its authority from the consent of the governed how can the governed give their consent to tax, to write laws which others must follow, and to kill when these dictates are disobeyed?

You clearly are not following my line of thinking

and I am not surprised because it is confusing. Sorry. But from what I said above, you have no idea what type of government/no government I believe in. You must just be in a disagreeable mood; otherwise you would agree with me once you took the time to understand what I am saying.

i think you are both right!

and you are both on the same page...kudos!

WAKE UP, America!

...i like that...

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

A long train of abuses and usurpations

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes,"...

but we've been seduced away from our responsibility to take make these judgments, and coerced into accepting incremental "change" that has ensnared us in government crisis-management expedience.

"and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed."

Corrupt political science involves the application of this knowledge to expand unjust powers as stealthily as possible, while maintaining a level of sufferable evil in the public sentiments.

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism,"...

We can no longer excuse their actions as either incompetent or misguided, because overwhelming evidence of their bipartisan design always undermines our rights and consolidates their power.

"it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

We must appeal the God of heaven and the hearts and minds of all liberty-loving people, to help us do all that is within our right and duty as free people if we are to secure our future.

Way to go, Judge Napolitano! Thanks for the thread qwerty1.

Revolution: Right, Duty, and 100% legal

First, to establish authority, the following site is from the Congress. It has a .gov suffix.

http://uscode.house.gov/lawrevisioncounsel.shtml

Office of the Law Revision Counsel

The Office of the Law Revision Counsel prepares and publishes the United States Code, which is a consolidation and codification by subject matter of the general and permanent laws of the United States.

Next, once there, click "Search the U.S. Code" which brings you to...

http://uscode.house.gov/search/criteria.shtml

Then, in the very first "Search Word(s)" box, type "Declaration of Independence" and hit [Enter]. This takes you to the a massive search list of results. The very top result has a score of 100. It is titled...

USC THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE - 1776

It is located here.

Note the designation in front of it "USC". That stands for United States Code.

Therefor, The Declaration of Independence IS officially the "law of the land", and so is everything in it.

In closing, Judge Napolitano incorrectly stated the quote:

"It is the Right of the people to alter or abolish it". That part does not say "Duty", it says "Right". This next part later in the document does say "Duty" though:

"But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

He may have mixed up the words a little, but his point is still valid.

P.S. I'm not advocating any violence. Also this clip is from Nov. 2008.

Amazing! Very well written post! Thank you!

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Ron Paul's Convention Speech
"Freedom brings people together." - Ron Paul

nice work!

haha and i love your disclaimer...

formerly known as trembo slice

not 100% law

The constitutional and legal status of the Declaration of Independence is curiously ambiguous. John Hancock (in his capacity as president of the Second Continental Congress) and James Madison both considered it to be, in Madison's words, “the fundamental Act of Union of these States.”

Reflecting that view, Congress has placed it at the head of the United States Code, under the caption, “The Organic Laws of the United States of America.” The Supreme Court has infrequently accorded it binding legal force, for example, in resolving questions of alienage (Inglis v. Trustees of Sailor's Snug Harbour, 1830). Yet lawyers generally, and the Supreme Court in particular, have been reluctant to treat the Declaration as part of American organic law, or even to accord it the restricted status of the Preamble to the Constitution.

Conservatives like Daniel Webster denied that there is a constitutionally recognized right of revolution, and those state supreme courts that have addressed the issue in the twentieth century have adopted Webster's view. Reformers, such as antebellum abolitionists, insisted that the Declaration was part of the constitutional order, while their opponents, including John C. Calhoun, denigrated its authority and validity. The adoption of the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendments allayed the urgency of that question by incorporating concepts of equality, freedom, and citizenship into the operative constitutional text.
