I have thousands of still photos that I took myself that I'd rather use next time. I have to learn the technique on panning/and zooming within these large photos to create a sense of motion.
This is really fun, and there's quite a sense of accomplishment when you see your finished product..
Probably like the feeling you get when you finish one of your outstanding quilts. BTW..do you have any large photos of your quilts? hint hint!

I wish I understood
computers better. I really admire all the creative talent in the videos. I have pictures of my quilts so that when I can't quilt anymore I can look back. I need to take digital pictures too, I guess. I am always glad when I finally finish a quilt because after working on them so long, I start to hate them. Then after I am done and don't look at them for a while and then see them again I think "Oh, that's not so bad, I kindda like it". LOL I'm so crazy. LOL

If you are looking to get yourself a digital camera.
There are amazing pieces of equipment out there in the 200 dollar range.
Some in that price range will even take video and send it directly to Youtube if you like.
BTW, all the good artists are their own worst critics..LOL

My husband bought
me one and I used it to take pictures of my chicken coop. You know digital pictures are nice because you can delete the ones you don't like. Years ago when I took pictures I would take a whole roll and get maybe one or two pictures that I liked, what a waste of film. Thanks, Thundercloud for your offer, that is very kind of you.

Depends on what you have to work with.
Adobe Flash could work..There are lots of tutorials out there.
Or you could do stop motion, with a camera, and artwork.

Excellent! I would have thought it was pro
I did notice on the wavy transition the waves rippled outside the image into the black border. The theme was immediately evident and the "fraud" shot at the end was a great wrap-up.

That wavy thing bugged me too.
I think I need to resize and match dimensions on the images to get rid of that.
