BEWARE THE CRUSADER: An inside look at Alex Jones, and ourselves.
My father made a statement to me many years ago, when I first began talking about AJ. He said "beware the crusader". You may not always know what their intentions may be. Be careful what you hitch your wagon to. I wrote it off with not much thought, as young men sometimes do with fatherly advice.
These last couple of days have made me reflect on those words, and I am going to share with you what I know, and I think about the situation.
I am going to try and tell this story without using names, as they have spoken to me in confidence, and I don't want to betray their trust. I also don't want a lawsuit from Jones, who calls me a friend when he is on air, but you never know. I feel like his token black friend, even though I am not black. (It's a long story) We don't hang out on a regular basis, but he always likes to be seen with me when we're in the same place, for reasons I can't explain for fear of giving away my personal identity to him.
I have grown up in Austin, and have watched AJ since he started on a small Public Access Community TV station. Back then it was just him, and another guy who worked the cameras and the soundboard during the show. This gentleman worked his tail off for AJ for free, many times having to pay expenses out of his own pocket, without being reimbursed. He did this free work because he is a truly great Texan, and American Patriot. So was Alex for that matter.
They had a very small audience back then of only a few dozen die hard patriots. I was not one of those people in the beginning. We would come home from the bars and see him on late night public TV, and make fun if him. It took a long time to gain my trust,
I have spent a good portion of the day speaking to friends that have also known AJ for many, many years, so that I could reaffirm some of what I have been thinking. These people have worked for, and written for, and known Alex (flaws and all) for a very long time.
I also received a few calls from loyal listeners, that were furious about the Sheen piece, and the buildup campaign.
Here is the truth about AJ as best I can tell you.
1) Is he a Zionist or Vatican agent ?
Absolutely not. If anything he is a slave to his hideous wife Violet ( Kelly) Jones. I have only met her once, and she was so rude to me and my wife at the time, I was completely blown away. If there is anyone running the show, it is her. She, according to those who have worked closely with her is one of the most vile creatures to ever walk the Earth.
He ( supposedly) hates her guts, and the reason he stays in the studio until 3 am is to be as far away from her as much as possible. She is a very controlling, materialistic, Ebay addict, that has to have more money, all the time. He seems like he lives just to support her ebay habit. She is an ex PETA radical, and having dated one of those, I can relate to the craziness they can exhibit. They're often beautiful women, that are a bit on the coo coo side.
2) Is he an egomaniac that has become cut throat, just like the elite he is going after?
Yes. He has used his influence over Ted at GCN to get Jack Blood fired, and Jeff Rense fired. He has a few high powered lawyers on retainer that will attack anyone that threatens to tarnish his name, and mini empire. He may say he is a humble country boy, but there is another side.
3) Does he like to share the spotlight with anyone that helped him get to where he is today?
No, in fact he has treated some of them like dogs, and if he could say that he broke into Bohemian Grove alone, he would. In fact he tried one night on C2C, until George cut him off after about an hour and said "wasn't so and so with you"?
4) Did he think this Charlie Sheen thing was the biggest thing he has done on 14 years?
I think yes. Alex is a social climber, and has gotten there on the backs of some great hard working people that gave their all for the cause, so that he could build the show, and spread the word. He is like a Hollywood, star struck teenager, that thinks rubbing elbows with some of these folks makes him something more than he really is..
5) Was him shutting the comments section off, really to save bandwidth?
I don't know. It seemed fishy on the surface, but maybe someone with familiarity with these type of wordpress etc. type websites could chime in, and offer their expertise.
6) Do I think the disclaimer being left off, was a screw up?
Once again, I don't know for sure. Supposedly it was cut off when it was posted, because there was a picture that separated the text at the end, and then they couldn't get back in a portion of the time to correct it, because the servers were supposedly slammed.
I think that it was a legit screw up, and technically if you'd have clicked on the bibliography link at the bottom ( as many good researchers would) which I didn't, because the disclaimer was there by the time I got to read it, you'd have seen a SECOND version which had the disclaimer.(according to abovetopsecret.com link)
Maybe it was a test to see who would look at the entire picture, rather than just react without looking into it further, He says that wasn't his intention. It was not so much of a big deal to me. I knee jerked, but not that hard, and I have a good reputation, so it was easy to maintain integrity with the couple of people I told before it became such an issue.
7) Does he make a comfortable living doing what he does, and employ about 20 people?
Yes, He lives in a nice house, and has nice things, and is able to support his children comfortably. So what. Sue him. What is he supposed to wear a burlap robe, and live the life of a monk? He worked his butt off to build his show and his site, from nothing. He has dumped on many of the people who helped him get there, but he still deserves it from all of his own hard work.
8) Does occasionally say hundreds when he should say dozens, or thousands when he should say hundreds?
Yes, but that is about all your going to find on him regarding his info. Otherwise I invite you to call him out on whatever he is lying about.
9) Has he gotten a bit drunk off of his recent success, and become a bit self destructive?
According to some on the inside, yes.
I do not write this to smear AJ. I write it simply to relay that he is an imperfect human, just like the rest of us. He has his flaws, and is going to make mistakes, just like the rest of us. If you dealt with the research and information he does on a daily basis, you might be a little crazy too.
I saw many people ride out on their white horses yesterday and act like they have never told a lie, never exaggerated. never sensationalized, or never done anything wrong.
The bottom line is this.
There are many different voices on the radio and internet, as far as experts go. Webster Tarpley, David Ray Griffen, G. Edward, Mike Ruppert, and so many others,
No one has the ability to motivate, and move people to act like AJ does. I have seen the listeners raise almost 70 grand in one day, for Sen. Dean Barkley on short notice. I have seen him crash servers, shut down newscasts, police stations, and many other very impressive things. No one has the reach, and ability to get things done like his listeners and crew do.
Also, we are bombarded EVERY day with lies, propaganda, and deceit by the MSM in every form, from the sinister people that own and run them. From every direction we are attacked with deception, and trickery.
9/11 was at the very least allowed to happen, and our liberties are being stripped rapidly, on a daily basis. The police state is ever encroaching. They are talking about Martial Law, and using the military to "assist" with mandatory vaccinations, with poisons that we know are dangerous.
We are in danger, our children, grandchildren, and loved ones are in danger, and we know it.
If I was in AJ's position, I would be trying everything in my power to spread the warning. That is essentially what Ron Paul wants us to do, is get the message out to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.
You may choose to stop supporting him, but I would ask myself beforehand, if I am in a position to throw stones in a glass house before I do though.
I, however,am going to give the benefit of the doubt on this one and continue to support the money bombs, and donate to keep the interviews, and the information flowing. I know for a fact that it is being used to expand his facilities, and be able to reach more people. If the country did .025% of what his listeners, and activists in general do, we would not be facing the problems we are today..
Finally, there is so much we need to be focused on, and unified on, that there is not a whole lot of time to act IMO.
So I say "beware the crusader", but know what you have in your arsenal, and be prepared to use it, and support it, at every chance. Our country's future depends on it. Our lives may depend on it.

Why not just spread Ron Paul's message?
Why do you have to spread AJ's message? People are much more susceptible to RP's message. Would you agree? Restoring the Republic is the goal, right? Why not use the best methods available to obtain our goal.

If you don't like Alex, don't listen to him. I listen and appreciate/evaluate the information he passes along. Sometimes he makes me laugh with his rants (no one rants better than AJ) sometimes he makes me tell him to shut up. is ok in my book. Not that I worship the ground he walks, he has his good points and his bad points. I, like most of you, get my information via the internet. His show is only one of hundreds of sites I visit on a daily basis. The Daily Paul is my most frequented site. Let's see what today has in store for us!

Occasionally what is good in men rebels against the evil powermongers. One of the BEST ways to gain control of a renegade is to get him physically bound to one of their women - by children. The single thing that makes me not trust AJ is his silence on the Israeli connection to the NWO. It is like trying to weed the yard, but pretending dandelions don't exist...

I just think he is overly cautious not to seems like a christian warrior and an anti-jew or jew hater. If he gets tagged with this persona all his other subject matter will be discounted thoroughly!
He has managed to remain diligent with getting his message out without pulling the "race card" if you will. Plus not all of Israel are Zionist so you can't paint the entire illegitimate state as being such, can you?
Just my opinion as to why he steers clear of this issue. Only he knows for certain why this is. With that being said I believe there is enough material and other abuses to our liberties that he doesn't have to go there.

My two cents' worth
Alex is very good when he is on other programs, such as Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, or on Alan Colmes' radio show. He is respectful, has the facts and is passionate about sharing them with the listers.
He has wonderful interviews. These include Ron Paul, Paul Craig Roberts, the janitor of the WTC, Rodriguez, and others. The interviews are usually excellent.
And yet, he screams, goes on bombastic tirades or flat-out berserk in his own studio. Then he gets very quiet and humble, muttering about Jesus. I won't listen to it any more. I tried, for about five years. When he went into a pitiful rage I switched him off. In my humble opinion, Alex has a screw loose.
His wife, kids, and family life are his business, not mine. How he treats other people is of interest, but I am just looking for real hard facts which can be substantiated. The other stuff does not compel me to look further.

But he does speak out for liberty and is polite and respectful to the Good Doctor, so he's not totally nuts.

is an entertainer. His business and living consists of scaring people and overdramatizing certain aspects of the police state, and weaving conspiracy theories together. He knows the minute he can't do this, he goes bankrupt and into poverty, so he has a great incentive to take information out of context and to freak people out. Unfortunately, most people buy into it. Amazingly, some are still apologizing for the whole Charlie Sheen thing. I'm not saying there isn't any truth to what Alex says, but you'd be an idiot and as easily herded as the avg sheeple if you go along with everything he says.

hey zp - it was not a personal attack!!! Alex is the most fearless courageous patriot I have ever seen. Alex is human and has made mistakes. Many things Alex talked about ten years ago have and are happening. We must always question the messenger...and I do and I have. In regards to Alex...I believe he is legit and is our friend....Dr. Paul has no problem with Alex and appears on his show regularly.

Given time, everyone will show his true colors. This is nothing more than an attempt to try to discredit Alex Jones. Alex always says it is not about him. It appears the green monster is on your should and is eating you to the core.
How is it, that those who criticize Alex, have no plan of their own. No voice in the movement. It is hard to ask us to listen to a person who is afraid to come clean and tell us who you are.
I have watch a campaign against Alex and his wife and children and sponsors over the past few months. This is not by accident. Is Alex perfect? No, and he doesn't claim to be.

Alex Jones lost credibility with me the other day, but I never said I wished him ill, or wanted to "throw him under a bus." If he apologized for lying, that would be good, but he didn't apologize.
Airing some of his dirty laundry in an effort to restore him to grace, because...you know... he's "only human," doesn't make much sense to me. I don't need to know this, and it's beside the point.

...regarding "beware the crusader" after listening intently for a few years.
AJ is a great source for news...and I pass along the information as an "infowarrior" - I appreciate his efforts, realize his effectiveness, trust his sincerity, but also know that any fallen sinner can give into vice if they do not have the restraining power of the Creator within them.
I keep AJ at arms length, simply because he keeps the faith of our founders and the moral truths they wanted taught to every succeeding generation in order to secure our Liberty at arms length.
I do not expect him to preach, but if the Lord opens the door, and AJ knows scripture or could quote a Benjamin Rush, Noah Webster, John Jay, John Adams etc. etc. he ought to do it at the time instead of tell people to "go read your Bible on your own".
A few moral precepts from our history could accomplish so much to encourage the simple minds of the childlike trusting sheeple - and I think AJ ought to use his God-granted microphone to advance such eternal moral precepts until ALL of his audience employs them as well.
Creationist Kent Hovind's imprisonment for being a tax cheat is something AJ could reference to drive the point home that the pure faith of our founders is being criminalized in this country; and secondly, I have never heard him plug David Barton's Wallbuilders Ministry as a Texan.
I consider AJ a fellow patriot, and an immense talent - but considering the gravity of the situation - being on the eve of martial law - this omission of equally vital information about our nation's history, and deliberate reference that ties the faith of our founders directly to their ability to recognize tyranny and "predict" serfdom at the hands of evil money masters is not a subject to be ignored, and not a discernment, maturity or wisdom many of his listeners possess.
This is a spiritual battle, as much as it is an information war. Knowledge of the spiritual - as our founders possessed - earned them Divine intervention and scored them the victory over their oppressors. We have to stop appeasing the secular - this nation shouldn't have allowed the Creator to be placed on the back burner, His followers mocked and ridiculed, and laws to be put in place whereby those as spiritually mature and knowledgeable as our founders silenced by majority opinion.
I would never be against Alex, unless he was against me; and he cannot seclude himself from us - we are here to help him.
I hope he will humbly accept our constructive critique today - only to increase the reach of his efforts - before honor there must be humility.

Hi "jefferson". First, let me say that I LOVE Alex Jones! I have to give him as much credit for waking me up as Ron Paul. I understand that he is just human and that he has done more for the freedom movement than just about anyone from our generation. I listen to his show just about every day. I keep it on in the background as I am home all day with the kids. It seems to keep me "sane", lol. I even enjoy his rants because he usually says what we are all thinking but to conservative to shout out loud.
I Do not think this "stunt" was a smart move, but I do respect him for doing SOMETHING". Everyone makes mistakes... I could even chalk up the disclaimer fiasco to an honest mistake or misconceived part of his plan to make it go viral. And Maybe he DID shut down the comment section due to overwhelming traffic (though I find that had to believe from my experience that day).
I logged on that day at 9AM anxious to see this BIG announcement. I read the whole article. There was no disclaimer. My son needed help with some school work so I closed the window. When I was free (around 9:45 - 10am) I logged back on, skipped over the article and went to the comments section to see what others had to say. Reading on down the page people started to say things like "can't you people read! I says "This has not happened...yet." I thought Huh? So I scrolled back up to the article and there it was! I scrolled back down to the comments. Now I have NEVER, NOT ONCE commented on Alex's site. But I felt I need to set the story straight because I can read, and that disclaimer was not there! I made my comment. My comment was DELETED! I am always guilty of having multiple screens open at one time (I get sidetracked sometimes and this helps me not to forget what I was originally looking at...lol) Well I happened to have a window open WITH my comment and many others that, after comparison, I noticed were also deleted! I have this saved for anyone who would like to see it... ALL the comments that sound reasonable about the disclaimer not being there when the article was first released, and most saying this was not a smart move were GONE. I thought only Trolls and breakers of the rules have their comments deleted... Only one problem, I KNOW I am no troll and I did not break the rules... Even worse this was my first time ever commenting! This is a completely orwellian tactic, right down the memory hole. That is what I cannot get past. I have been upset for days now because to me was the ultimate betrayal. And then the comments conveniently need to be turned off. Hmm. That is not what I expected from a site promoting freedom... I will probably get over it and forgive him but I will never forget. And every time someone calls someone with a different point of view a "troll" or someone complains about thier comment being deleted I will always wonder...

I would like to clarify something. I was so exited about “The BIG announcement” that I hardly slept… Alex made it sound as if something revolutionary was about to occur. This morning, with baited breath, I kept checking both Infowars AND Prisonplanet. Finally this story pops up. I thought this must be it. I read the ENTIRE article start to finish and was very happy that the interview had taken place, even though I didn’t think it was “revolutionary”. Now, let me clarify, for those of you who assume many of the bloggers cannot read. The disclaimer WAS NOT there when I first read the article! Yes, I am positive because I was specifically looking for clarification at the end of the article. Only Sheens signature was there. As I did not take a screen shot I have no proof, but I know what I saw. Now I suppose this could have been a mistake that was fixed within an hour, and thankfully I have learned not to run with any story until I have fully researched it, but I am very disappointed. I come here for the TRUTH and have come to trust (with my eyes open) Alex and this site based on the fact that almost all the info I see/read here can be documented and proven with research on my part. This propaganda piece seems like something the NWO would pull, not Alex. I will listen to his show today to see if he will explain himself, but I must say, I feel played.- Erin in Florida

Thank you for your heartfelt and detailed response. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall, and been able to tell you exactly what happened. We deserve the truth.
There were some iffy things that happened, that I don't have the technical expertise to explain. I believe you about your comment. I have had comments disappear there, but it was during a different time.
I was not tuned into AJ previous to the big announcement. I did watch his small video promo talking about how it was the biggest thing he had done in 14 years, but was not tuned in to the hype in the previous days.
I know there are a bunch of people that would like to take him down, and shut him up, and make him look like a bad guy.
He has made some poor decisions based on ego, that were harmful to the greater good in general.
Did he lie purposefully? I just don't know.
That is why I titled my OP " Beware the Crusader" , because you never know, and should never blindly trust anyone leading a crusade.
I can understand how people felt deceived and let down. I just can't think of an operation that is growing as fast, and that can make an impact so quickly and effectively.
I am trying to keep an open mind, even with all I know, and hoping that this stunt will work out for the best. We need to be united, and have our eyes on the target. HR1207 and S 604, and whatever your other projects may be.
But this whole calling him a Zionist agent, and slinging mud before all the info was in was uncalled for. There were some people here (one in particular) "pseudonym" who seemed to have spent 48 hours straight just making post after post trying to discredit him. They probably made over 100 posts trying to discredit him.
He is not perfect by any means. Far from it. Neither am I. But , sometimes you have to "run what you brung" as they say in drag racing.
If I find out he deliberately lied to people and deceived them, then I will be the first to call him on it, and let my fellow patriots know.
His actions have awakened millions, myself included. I am going to stand by him for now.

Thanks for your post and thanks for responding to mine. I agree with you about people just waiting for some way to bring him down. That is why I have refrained from writing an article or blogging on some of the threads I saw bashing him. I did not want to be part of tarnishing his reputation (more than he had already done to himself). sigh. But I felt the whole deleting valid comments thing needed to be addressed. How many times have we written off someones comment as "must be a troll"? How many times did I read a comment "they deleted my post!" and think "Good!, go away troll!". I will be a little more open minded to these comments going forward... We must be careful not to fall into the same trap as the sleep walking masses, calling anyone with a different piont of view "trolls" as they call us "truthers", "Birthers", "crazies"...
I liked your post. It seemed very fair and not one sided. I just felt that you had forgotten (or not been aware of) a key to the puzzle of that day.
Alex has become like a member of my family. I listen to him daily,pray for him, back him, send what little money I can, Buy his DVD's, ect. I guess that is why I feel so betrayed... But as I stated before I will eventually get over it. It is the same when one of my family members does something to hurt/anger me, I always need time to cool off. Then I remember that we all make mistakes and that I love them and move on. But though I forgive, I DO NOT think it wise to forget...
Mike Rivero has much higher credibility
Unfortunately the right libertarian mindset has a greater following than the left libertarian hence we put up with the evangelical sounding Alex where we could be listening to the steady scientific atheistic logical mindset, as well as humor, of Mike Rivero. Pity, but of course as a staunch supporter of Ron Paul in these times of tyranny, one cannot complain too much, despite his pro-life position and anti-9/11 truth positions being tough pills to swallow. I am sure I am not alone on that.

was for Obama, in the beginning. I believe he even voted for him, even though I am not 100% sure on that. He has since woken up, and has been very outspoken against his policies. You can ask him yourself.

Answer to one question I can firmly attest to:

- No, this makes no sense that text would be taking up so much bandwith.. Audio and Video take thousands of times more space than text comments.
The comments section was obviously shut down because it was receiving negative feedback.
No Filter
If you look at the regular diatribe that pervades Alex's comment section from obvious trolls I really wish he would shut the comments section down more often, or at least filter it. Why he puts up with such antagonism beats me. Clearly he had made a mistake (whether accidentally or not), and so why let the message he was trying to bring get rewritten by the shills.
