At the Rally for the Republic I was one of the first to get in and settle in my seat. My wife had to work and arrived later in the afternoon, some five hours into the program. I could not wait to tell her that during the entire day bathrooms were so clean that I was yet to see a single piece of paper on the floor. I am kind of OCD about that stuff.
It was one of the best examples ever how libertarians can spontaneously and efficiently take care of the environment. I should have gone to the Target Center last Saturday to see what the advocates of using other people’s money have done to it.

1. Obama supporters generally do not pay taxes..
2. Tea Partier's generally do pay taxes..
Now. With that said.. Didn't we just pay to have it cleaned up?? So in my mind we treat is as OUR backyard....
Maybe if the OBAMANOTS had some "skin in the game" they would have cleaned up.. But as per usual, they expect that the money tree will yield enough to pay someone to fix it for them...

have jobs only because people won't pick up after themselves.
Haven't you seen that episode of Higgly Town Heroes? Did the kids just go around the downed tree? Did they try to move it themselves? No, they waited until the beavers came along and moved it. You should watch that show to learn how good citizens behave.

I remember being introduced to this style of thought in the university library:
Don't put the book back where you found it, put it on the red shelf for re-shelfing. Some work study gets paid for doing that.
Nice work if you can get it!
Hey, I got paid for a few weeks to pass out basketballs when I first started college. 100% of the money went to rent and groceries and tuition. Okay...about $4 a week went to a 12 pack of Old Milwaulkee's Best or Falstaff (1992 prices).

I kinda bet they do. Good thought though.

I wouldn't make that assumption
I saw Obama signs in some really really upscale neighborhoods. Paying taxes is no measure of patriotism, it's a measure of ignorance.
