I just got through reading
I just got through reading his new book. I enjoyed it very much. He writes a very clever story. In the end it is just a work of fiction. It's not a history book.
There's no way
Dan Brown writes those books on his own - they are indeed very clever propaganda pieces that contain fact and fiction, with the truth and the lies cleverly twisted around.
Suddenly there's all these books and movies suddenly coming out about the Masons. That's because too many are finding out the truth so they must address it, but present it in the way THEY want you to perceive it - which is certainly not the TRUTH.
I was at Border's books the other day and they had a huge display on Masonic books and related topics. I was talking about this stuff 5 years ago (and much more serious researchers than me for a lot longer than that), and I was called a nut. Now it's so in your face everywhere. So why Now? Because it's time for the propaganda machine to kick in and distort the truth so it can be suppressed...
Same formula in all his books...build suspense at the end of a chapter, then change the subject. His books seem so juicy in the beginning, like he's going to reveal something really profund, than as one reviewer noted "on the last few pages everything comes unraveled, the reader is left flat and wanting to get their money back".
he is a disinfo agent
He has not kicked anyone in the teeth. His "fiction" skirts the truth by way of involving secret societies in an over the top fantasy. By making his stories so fantastic, he gives the general public a paper thin comical view of these societies and what their purpose is. So if you mention something about the NWO, or globalists being controlled by secret societies, the average person is going to think of Angels and Demons and immediately think you are either crazy or associate the secret society with fiction.
Brown is a fiction writer
People can think all sort of silly things some even fear they will be left behind or that some girl's head spun all the way around and she spit up pea soup. Go figure.
All for freedom? Freedom for all!
Yeah but there is a problem
when someone blasphemes against the true and living God. There is also a problem when the children of the world are encouraged to read books about witchcraft.
Genesis 3:5
I appreciate your sincere concern for my soul, but the very first warning in the Bible gives me pause.
How is it that one's knowledge of good and evil is so clear. Fruit salad?
But God of the Bible warned man not to eat the fruit of that tree, Eat it and you will surely die. Why? Is that knowledge poisonous if one makes it a part of themselves? If one makes judgments based on knowing good and evil as the gods do does that serve God?
Jesus comes along and offers living water and his body and blood. Love your neighbor as yourself and love your enemy and earn the promise of everlasting life. Sure death or everlasting life: the former is easy the later is hard work requiring courage.
All for freedom? Freedom for all!
Brown is a fiction writer
I believe the knee jerk reaction of the Church was less because he kicked the Opus Dei organization in the teeth, but because he dared treat women as important players in our historical development.
I enjoy his stories like I do Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter because they make new things familiar and familiar things new.
All for freedom? Freedom for all!
The church should react to this stuff
The DiVinci Code is blasphemy against God. Jesus knew no sin. Jesus is God and He fulfilled what the prophets had prophesied. Be careful with that Harry Potter stuff, that is witchcraft. Now even so called Christians are reading Harry Potter, but there is no gray area. You can't love the things of God/Bible and witchcraft/satan at the same time.
if Jesus is God...
Who did he pray to...himself? Who resurrected him on the third day? Why did he cry out during his crucifiction "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?"
LOL
All for freedom? Freedom for all!
Well i just figured out my
Well i just figured out my father purchased it so I can wait till hes done and check it out
It has sold 500k copies in a week.
He writes extremely well in my opinion.
I would wait until a few reviews come out. He could be riding on the coat tails of his reputation with this one, and it could be just another suspense thriller.
Im on page 478 of his 509 page new book
Im really enjoying it. It is embarrassingly true to his formula- but I cant put it down. He's done his research as usual and Im assuming he's so widely read that he dosnt really need to be fact checked- not that it matters- he's FICTION. The puzzles and suspense in this one are even more spoon-fed than the others, leaving you feeling more like youre reading an Encyclopedia Brown case for grown-ups. It is somewhat cerebral compared to alot of what gets published today- but despite its few calories, its still fluffy. Its kind of like Cap'n Crunch...yeah there's 8 essential vitamins &minerals- but come on- its still junk food. and im eating it up lol. Propaganda? Hey if youre reading a book this long- then youre a growed up and im sure you can separate fact from fiction.
He is not a very good writer.
This is just 'my' theory and take on Mr. Brown(if that is his 'real' name)
I have often wondered if he was approached by someone he may not know who this person's connection is, was given a kind of outline with a guaranteed payment for a few years in order to produce the book and provided his books set forth according to 'the outline' .
Deal is, he would be allowed to keep all royalties and he would be given as much media attention as is available (despite the fact he is a 'bad writer').
He is not allowed to know who pays him or why the outline has to be 'just so', if he wants the job, he will have instant fame and years of fortune.
He figured if he didn't take it, it would be given to another mediocre writer, so why not eh?
Live and learn.
He writes a nice story
They're entertaining books. Not real consitently accurate with the symbols and dogma, but good little stories.
yawn
same tired story repackaged with different facts every time. check out this thread to see how his next book will probably begin: http://www.dailypaul.com/...
