I know everyone has worked hard sending email and snail-mail letters, making telephone calls, showing up at District offices and town-halls and for the most part pestering the hell out of their Congressperson to have them support H.R. 1207 and our work is now rewarded by an official hearing Friday morning at 9:00am.
Congratulations and Thank You to Everyone
But in this final day we do not need to let up. We need to work as hard as ever to let all of the Congresspeople know that we will be watching and that we as their constituents demand an audit of the Federal Reserve.
In these final hours we should all commit to sending as many emails and calling as many Congresspeople as we can to either remind them of their support or encourage their support of H.R. 1207. We need to contact every single member of Congress and keep the pressure on to have an Audit of the Federal Reserve conducted.
Members who have previously held out from supporting an audit may be more likely now that the FED has turned down the Treasury request of an internal audit.
Lets have one last push to show Congress that 'The People' demand an Audit of the Federal Reserve!

Don't e-mail
E-mails probably won't reach them in time. Use faxes and phone calls. If you don't have a fax machine or subscribe to an internet-based fax service, then look up free fax services on a search engine.
Ok I've been working my way
Ok I've been working my way down the list of supporters via the H.R. 1207 page http://www.dailypaul.com/node/90775
Is anyone else sending emails? This is important. We've worked hard for this moment. Lets not let it slip from our fingers now...

I contacted all CO congresspeople
I just emailed all the Congresspeople from Colorado. All have signed on as co-sponsors except for Diana DeGette. Here is the email I sent. It's nothing fancy but I think works to get the message out:
Congressman Polis,
I would like to take a moment and thank you for co-sponsoring H.R. 1207 - the bill to audit the Federal Reserve and to remind you of the scheduled hearing Friday morning at 9:00am.
A recent Rasmussen poll indicates that 75% of Americans support an audit of the FED and the American people overwhelmingly voted for 'change' and 'transparency' when Obama was elected as our next President. Ben Bernanke's refusal to disclose the borrowers of trillions of dollars and his refusal to participate in a U.S. Treasury requested audit goes against the very transparency that 'The People' demand.
Please show your continued support by requesting a vote on H.R. 1207 and voting YES when such vote arises.
Thank you for your support.
