He writes well

And I think he's great for MSM, because he keeps the duopoly alive, the duopoly being the illusion that there is two parties. There is one party, and if McCain won, and the GOP picked him because they didn't want to win, but he would be doing exactly what Obama is doing. The NEO (NEW) World order infiltraited BOTH parties and right now, they control the right and left, which the media reports as fact.

McCain lost

because conservatives knew he was full of sh!t. They didn't trust him. They didn't want another "cowboy" in there pissing of the world and driving us to destruction. So they didn't back him (with good reason) in mass like they would have normally. If the PTB wanted him in there it wouldn't be much different because what's really stirring the pot in America is the economy. We would have still been in this situation because it's been a long time coming. Bombing Iran would make it worse yet. You know that hothead would of had his finger on the button!

Levin is a

foaming at the mouth freedom hater disguised as a devote follower of the Constitution. Levin, Hannity, Limbaugh and their ilk love to claim how many fools are in their camp. Problem is..the 16 million fools that listen to them are all the same people...they have 16 to 20 million fools that support them....not enough to win anything. The NeoCons will remain a minority party until they adopt true republican conservative principles like those of Dr. Paul.

And Levin...I think we all know who's interest he serves..don't we?

Awesome!!

Thank you so much for posting this great video.

Of course I voted for Dr Paul. that would have been better

The S.A. didn't "take on" Ron Paul,

he merely said he didn't expect the GOP to adopt all his philosophy.

For this guy to suggest that there would be no mass protests, or tea parties, etc., if John McCain had won the election is just plain flat wrong.

McCain would most likely be doing much of what Obama is doing: escalating the war in the MidEast, sabre-rattling at Iran, and continuing as Bush's third term. The only thing he might not do is to push for universal healthcare.

But there would be protests all right, and Ron Paul would continue to gain in stature, as he is doing now.

But would the republicans question McCain's policies?

Would they vote against his policies, like they are voting against Obama's? Would the democrats vote against McCain's policies, even when it is their own polices? Would most of the people now protesting in tea-parties etc... be asleep or awake with McCain as president? Would RP 1207 be co-sponsor by all the Republicans if McCain were president?

I would say maybe.

There would be protests all right...

but he said "mass protests." You're right, there would still be four or five of us meeting for tea parties.

Now, of course, the four or five of us are still there---maybe 20 or 100---scattered among the thousands of neocons. I'm not saying this aspect is a definite improvement, but the neocons do have mass.

On the other side, the peaceniks are something of a loss, but they're more or less a negligible minority like us. And a lot of them jumped ship for Costa Rica. I must say that I'm pretty discouraged with the whole business...but I'll probably jump ship to make a stand in Idaho or Montana.

The only chance we had in the election senario

was for McCain to lose. I can only imagine the crazy things we would be putting up with now if he hadn't. Even worse the slow drain would have seen next to no resistance like we are getting now. When was the last time you saw liberals standing up against the establishment types. They waste their time in the streets taking on mindless police officers. They never thought to go to town halls or organize huge events against the ENTIRE system. Unfortunately conservatives are better known in history for actually getting somewhere with their efforts and not just making a scene.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."

Well, I guess he called that one.

There would still be protest and tea parties if McCain

had got elected. Maybe more, because the anti-war group would be stronger instead of slacking off just because Obama got elected. The economy would still be in the crapper. The end the Fed movement and tea parties would still be going strong all because Ron Paul is right. Right about the economy and the war. McCain getting elected would not have pacified me like Obama getting elected has pacified the anti-war group.

We are in complete agreement.

I guess we both watched the TIME questions video. Paul made many brilliant observations, including that Obama has pretty much emasculated the anti-war left.

I was in college during the Sixties, and the anti-war protests went on around the clock. I think what is preventing them today is that we no longer have a draft of 18-25 year-olds. If that happens...

So with that logic...

Where is the anti-war right?

No draft, no protests

At least no big protests. There are always various peace & justice groups working out of faith communities, but they are small and not very vocal.

I don't know if there was ever an organized anti-war right, ever. The right used to be behind big business, which supported the defense contractors. If there was an anti-war right movement, I don't know about it.

I agree with most of this

the best part is watching the Neo-conservatives begin to eat their own.
They are beginning to turn on each other.
