I like the sound of that!
It tastes good to my ears, lol. If we could get those two in office, I'd be moving straight to Texas (at least until they legalize weed in California).

bump for Barry!
I love this guy!
I have much respect for this man
...though I think he definately needs to polish up his website design and get some more content on there if he's wanting to run for office, and continue practicing debate and the quality of his speech (the content is good, but the delivery needs some work).
As much as I'm 10,000% with him in his views on marijuana and our society's Kop problem, his unabashedly pro-pot stance is very risky and an easy target for ridicule and outright dismissal by his law enforcement and policymaking opponents who will come scratching and cackling, worming their way out of the moral filth they wallow in to gain points from the "elite" for laughing at and trying to destroy someone deemed an easy target (who happens to be threatening all of their jobs and social positions). These cockroaches will continue on their quest to quell all insurrections against their astonishingly unenlightened, obsolete and corrupt systems.
The fact that Barry was one of the former top narcotics law enforcement agents in the country you'd think would help his case, but even with a solid background, I worry that he'll have a hell of a time gaining mainstream acceptance. We're entering unusual times though, to say the least, so perhaps alternative-candidates like Barry can gain more traction, especially with his increasing media presence. I hope so, because we sure have a big problem with our Gestapo morons-with-badges and decent people in uniform who happen to value their own interests over what's right and continue making bad decisions they'll regret for the rest of their lives. I'll stop here before I inevitably start drawing parallels to various authoritarian regimes.
I just wish there were more cops like Barry out there who actually grew a damn conscience. There are some, and their numbers swell daily, but as many on this forum know, never fast enough. I'm curious to see how this will play out...
